I've never seen anyone discussing the data list Cinci #1. I've seen people saying Cinci is the #1 target, but those people were not talking about the data in the report. It's pretty obvious from multiple consistent reports that it is UConn - BYU and UC in that order. It's pretty obvious from a cursory glance at even the data we can all Google that that should be the order. BYU has warts however, so I suspect it's a close call for #2.

I'm pretty sure it was posted on this site... I'll try to find it.

Uh oh Colorado State fans are getting riled up!

It's funny how ill-informed most fans are about where their schools really sit in the world. We've all been immersed in this data for years and have few illusions.

Just looking at athletic budgets. UConn ranks ahead of Colorado, let alone Colorado State. CSU is between Fresno and UMass. Behind such athletic powerhouses as Old Dominion, James Madison and ECU.

UConn's average football attendance since 2003 is 36+k?

There has been 30k in the stadium maybe three times in the last 5 years.

You might want to check the math on that one.

Not a problem. We'll just CGI 'em into the stands on the old game tapes.

I'm sorry but this isn't even close to being true.

I know for a fact that the announced attendance at the Rent for about 90% of the first three seasons it was open was 40,000 - a sellout.

The good thing about Colorado is when you say" I wish I could get some of what your smoking" You can actually buy it there.

You're forgetting about all those years where they counted ticket sold instead of turnstyled attendance. We had a fair number of 40k games... and a lot of pretty good years even after we flipper formulas... PP was only 3 years... I know it seems like longer... but the rent was open 7 years before PP showed up.

A lot of teams balloon their attendances regarding actual Fannie's in the seats.

Not to pick nits but 03-'10 inclusive = 8 years, and however UConn counted attendance, officially, they have been able to fill Rentschler to 90% capacity for the first 12 years of FBS football.

LOL. The only number close to reality is the Michigan number.

Do you guys actually go to the games?

I buy tickets in the last row - I know when you can throw a grenade and injure no one.

I understand that you can take ridiculous numbers and do anything you like to them. I've been at every game but one since the place opened.

The years they were publishing 40k (in a building that holds 38,500) were just as silly as over 30k for Towson.

There have been two games that were legitmate sell outs. Boston College and Michigan.

I'm sure they do.

Here is what you are missing and why I said it.

The dear genius that tweeted the chart wrote a blog post being critical of the optics of attendance at a game that he watched on TV from 5 minutes away.

When he was called out on it he edited the post and has refused to admit that he was critical of the people that did the same thing he did.

He's a wannabe journalist who can't even come clean when he is full of crap. You'd think a wannabe journalist would care about having credibility - but he doesn't so I will forever mock him.

The chart is fine I guess - but when you work with numbers when idiots use arbitrary endpoints it's impossible to take them seriously.

The attendance isn't even the worst thing on there... I mean he starts in '03 when the Rent opens... makes sense... to some extent. I hate US News and World Reports... and the AD budget is complete insanity... but it's a quick and easy (and superficial) chart that does answer some of the stupider arguments against our inclusion in the B12.

But nobody with greater than 10 brain cells is swayed.

I just enjoy pointing out when idiots think they are being clever.

So WVU fans would rather be in the American than the SEC? That poll is interesting (and it was an actual scientific poll.)

They know they can't win in the SEC, but they could in the AAC, so I guess there's that.

If I didn't duck-_king hate every single person associated with Syracuse, Pitt, BCU, Miami, PC, and Villanova... I'd probably agree with them.:p

I read the poll...women voters outnumbered men...53% to 47%.

Three times the percentage of Male voters preferred the ACC over Female voters (I wonder why the difference).

2% of the Female voters preferred the SEC while 8% of the Male voters did...four times the female percentage (surprised at low % overall though).

Opening day against Indiana was a sell out. I would agree they have not had a large number of legitimate sell outs, but to say that there's only been two is absurd.
