His Twitter profile says that he has 160 followers and that he's 82 1/2 years old. Sounds like a reliable source to me.
Does he get his car washed? That's the gold standard of reliability.

I like the order in that last Tweet.Yes, he apparently is a Texas Tech fan. He tweeted a picture of Jones AT&T Stadium.

I have no reason to try and mislead anyone or lie to fan bases. I have solid Texas tech and big 12 sources

there are only 4 options for big 12 expansion right now: uconn, byu, cincy and memphis. No interest in ecu, ucf, usf, boise or houston

Dirty car, dirty mind...that's what I say.Does he get his car washed? That's the gold standard of reliability.
We're never going to the b12. And Memphis sucks at football, one good year doesn't change that, they're just the ucf of this year. Cincy and one of the Florida schools is probably their most likely adds imo. 2 new states, which means new recruiting territory and cable box's. Not to mention a Florida school in the b12 has to have lots of potential.
I mean in reality the two best schools they should take are Cincy and BYU. Absolutely no question about it. The travel and Sundays issue is hurting BYU obviously, but if you're going based on all the metrics those are the schools that check all the boxes.
In the east i see Temple as right behind UConn in value as a ''market''...better than UCinn IMO.Problem is sharing future revenue 16 ways vs. 12. You can't convince me that Texas would be ok with sharing that pot with Temple.
The only problem with Temple is they don't own their own marketIn the east i see Temple as right behind UConn in value as a ''market''...better than UCinn IMO.

Wouldn't he be 92 1/2 years olds? The date he lists as his birthday, February 10, 1923, is the date that Texas Tech was founded. That's probably not his birthday (or it's a really cool coincidence).
There was a blurb in the local North Jersey paper that the B1G is crediting Rutgers for helping the network sell 8 million new cable subscriptions in the NY/NJ metro area in 2014/2015.

92 2/3 is more like it but yeah. Somehow I overlooked a decade. I blame Paul Pasqualoni or beer (or both).
Whenever I read realignment theories, I wonder just how complicated these agreements are. I bet there are hundreds of clauses, restrictions, and metrics we know nothing about. For Florida State and Clemson to lock themselves down in such a turbulent time, I have to believe there are risk mitigating terms.Still think Big12 won't expand unless they know what the ACCn failure of starting up does for schools ability to leave the GOR sooner. If the promise was made that schools will have the network, and now there is not, there might be an escape clause. I could see both Fla State. decide to leave and play with the Big 12 with Notre Dame spurning another league to be with Texas again. Football teams first would think through what is in their best interest.
I believe this is the most optimistic CR post you ever made. Maybe the tide is turning.I believe that if UConn is simply a finalist for the Big 12, we will get invited to the ACC.
Is the dude a first year or second year?
They won't finish 5th. It's almost impossible the way the schedules shake out. If they win out and the Big 12 teams crap themselves in one way or another, they'll get in over two-loss Alabama, one loss LSU, or even undefeated Michigan State if they beat OSU.From Notre Dame's perspective, if they finish at #5, does that mean that being part of the ACC and its championship game may have given them a chance at a top 4 appearance? By lets saying beating Clemson?
This alone may re-start the fires around the XII - the first football playoff standings for 2015.

The two leading, undefeated XII teams have been jumped by a 1 loss Alabama team along with a 1 loss ND team. A weak OCC schedule is biting the XII teams now and the lack of a championship game will sting later.
1) Clemson
2) LSU
3) Ohio St
4) Alabama
5) ND
6) Baylor
7) Michigan St
8) TCU
9) Iowa
