Screw the ACC. Big XII please.
There are a lot of reasons you may want to rethink this. But if UConn doesn't have the option, B12 is still better than where we are now.Screw the ACC. Big XII please.
This was posted on CSNBBS:
"The ACC only has one more pro rata add during this contract."
What is "I don't like the color of this lifeboat! Send a different one."?Screw the ACC. Big XII please.

Rick Pitino endorses Coach K’s merger proposal to create ‘mega basketball conference’
Rick Pitino supports Mike Krzyzewski’s solution for the Big East and ACC.nypost.com
For the record, I don’t believe it.
It's even less likely than the ACC just cherry picking those few teams they feel help them demographically. And even that's still close to zero.Non zero chance of happening. But it’s close to zero.
Coach K wasn't happy when the ACC pulled Miami, Virginia Tech and BCU the first time. He actually said it was akin to driving a tractor trailer on your neighbors lawn.
Non zero chance of happening. But it’s close to zero.
Whether it will happen and whether it should happen are two different things. I do not think it will happen.
But you would literally have to have a skull full of dog spit not to realize that if the ACC, Big 12 and Big East, and ultimately like the Big 10, do not do something big to change the market dynamic, there will be the SEC and everyone else. I think that somewhere in that process college sports will just collapse as a major entertainment product.

As much as I respect Greg, the ACC can still grab UConn. We have to see how things play out.At 22:09, Flugaur says, in response to a question, that he has not heard about UConn to the ACC at all. A decision about UConn and the Big12 will be made this year.
My guess is that Flug is claiming the ACC is planning clandestine meetings to determine their next move.
I personally don't see this as likely because that conference's hands are cuffed until the media rights extension is either officially picked up or officially dropped by ESPN.
That is what I hear as well. ESPN wants the ACC...just not going to dump love out on the street during the renegotiation/look in process which is currently underway as it would undermine their pricing discussion. This batshittery again.
ESPN cannot drop the ACC. They are tied together through the end of 2036. They can adjust during the look in, but they are not dropping the ACC.
along with Assistant Coach WeeweeTinkle?
There's a Fresno state fan in the comments that goes "ehhh... might be a solid addition in basketball" and it might be the funniest thing I've ever seen.Is he talking football only? If so, then it might make sense.
Not to be confused with Lt. Lois Einhorn...along with Assistant Coach Weewee
The podcasters seem to think it was for all sports, which is crazy. There was no way UConn was ever going to do that. It was always only for football. Is he talking football only? If so, then it might make sense.
I cant see the ACC doing anything, I could be wrong though. As much as I respect Greg, the ACC can still grab UConn. We have to see how things play out.
