Nils Machowski visiting tomorrow…

Who cares about Wilkins? The point is we want winners here and I'm not yet sure how this kid contributes to that. Hopefully I'm wrong and Hopefully he commits
Umm, I don't care either, but you were the one who posted it.......

Feels like if these guys visit, they stay.

How's his handle? Any PG skills? Only averaged 2.5 assists a game. The Courant article yesterday said the staff was still in the market for a combo guard. Does he fit the bill?

Jesus Christmas.

When I said I wanted a legitimate combo guard yesterday this is the type of player I was dreaming of. Close the deal

This is the appropriate reaction.

I prefer someone more athletic, penetrator since we really don't have that and play D. Well we definitely love our white players under Hurley. LOL! I guess Nil is tight. Not too excited by this pickup but it is what it is and we need to fill out the roster.
Think Landrew

The court is lined with fly paper when recruits visit. Sadly, Cooper Flagg never walked on the court.

The one that got away. Not sure how much of a chance we really had there. Too much family love for Duke.

Would be a great get, but I have a hard time believing this kid would be willing to take a major backseat and step into a support role after the type of scoring numbers he's been putting up.
Why wouldn't he? National exposure, decent playing time, better intra-squad competition, coached by a master so all it takes is his ink on the paper and unlimited ice cream at the Dairy Bar. And, Nils' recommendation too.

91 threes made on 38% last year

For reference: Solo’s sophomore year: 99 on 41%. Cam: 99 on 44%. Hawkins: 109 on 39%. Kid can SHOOT.

I don’t love the idea of putting all of our backup PG eggs in the County basket. Would have preferred a backup G that can take secondary ballhandling duty. But if Hurley is sold on County at PG and we are looking for offense at SG, then an absolute flamethrower ain’t a bad option!

Let’s close it!

Aiden Mahaney 2.0.....high scorer at a mid major

We must of had to overpay for Mullins, Demary, Khamenia, Hines to not able to compete for players like Diop, Thiam, Freeman, Mcneil, Wilkins, etc.
Main difference IMO

Mahaney was brought in to start. Nils is coming off the bench with a pretty well defined role. Not going to be asked to do too much.

More like pay market.

Not done yet. Still 6 slots left.

No I just like a more athtletic team mixed with shooters. I'm not expecting a bunch of burger boys on our team. We actually will have 2 this year and they are both white and I'm fine with them. Just like to fill the roster with more athletes as that was definitely a deficiency the past 2 years.
That's great. I'd like Sydney Sweeney to come to my house to do me and for my wife to make us a nice dinner afterwards. It doesn't matter what you friggin want. What matters is whether we're competing for championships a high percentage of the time and winning our share. And I hate to spoil you with endings, but last year we competed for a championship. If your question is what can we do to win every year I apologize but you're asking a really stupid question.

Yeah but it’s an inefficient 83 points a game
LOL. Waiting for the first genius to tell us not to bother because it takes him 30 shots to get those 83 points.

We are learning how delusionally spoiled our fanbase has become. From a program that languished at the bottom of the Big East with a team the New York Post referred to as "the Smurfs."

That was 40 years ago. Were the Smurfs a thing?

Yes but if you ask the kid he's going to tell you he's German not Polish. Look at Deni Avdija, his last name is Serbian and he looks Serbian but he's from Israel and he'll tell you he's Israeli.

I still want to know if Jayden and Junior County get us to 5. Lolz
This is about as niche of a an ethnic euro argument you are going to see on this site, but Avdija isn't a Serb name. His father is a Muslim from a part of the former Yugoslavia that is currently known as Kosovo to the vast majority of the western world. The same country as former Husky, Rrezon Elezaj, for what it's worth. In my opinion, the surname looks way more Albanian than Serbian.

True, but net net we've gained a Belgian.

His name indicates that he would be Flemish, but I'm not dismissing the possibility that he's a Walloon.
I hope to God’s sake he’s not half Flemish and half Walloonian. Because from what I know from doing business in Belgium, that would mean he would hate himself.
