Sometimes you need the smaller parts that will be hungry for PT and will go through brick walls vs the prima donnas who are really saving themselves to the NBA - J Calhoun saw this and I feel he trickled down the practice to Dan Hurley.
In coaching it's easier to coach and develop those who want to improve and are team players vs those who feel everything revolves around themselves. It's even harder when you have a team full of the later.

I don’t know what kind of coach Scheyer will become but give the man a chance. Half this board was ready to run Dan Hurley out of town before last season. What info do you have that says Scheyer doesn’t put much effort into his job?

Wonder if he had pictures of any of his other top 8? If he scrubbed multiple it's nbd but if it was just us that's definitely strange.

I want to meet these two guys on the court sooooo bad and just abuse them during a blowout pleeeeaaaaaase god make this happen. Hurley is saying someone is disrespectful too. I hope we thrive without both he and Cooper while they are mediocre at Duke. Because it seems like he is headed there also.

and then his replacement is even worse and then that guys replacement is even worse etc etc until they disband the program and disappear forever. To be clear this has nothing to do with Flagg. We are talking about Duke after all.
 
Staff had to be confident they’d land at least one of Cooper or Pat. Something went really wrong here. I know we’ll put out more offers for 24 and some guys we’re on for 25 could reclass, but right now we’ve had one too many swing and misses for next year’s class.

I think those posts were taking out of context.

He didn’t make those posts himself. He was simply resharing other people tagging him in UConn posts and seemed like he did that with all posts.

What we’re not about to do here is defend Jon Scheyer lmfao duck* him and Duke I wish that program nothing but failure and unpleasantries
