Oh yeah. I’ll go back to internalizing it. His cousin I’m proud to have as a HuskyI mean, his cousin is still coming. That and transfers happen a lot.

Curious, how does Scheyer negatively recruit against Dan Hurley in 2023? Like what is there bad to say about the program right now…I wonder if Duke went all out negative recruiting against us with Cooper and specifically Pat.
Ok MumuI can. Whatever reason he has I don’t really care. I’ll root against him the rest of his career. I hope he ends up in last place on a Turkish league team without a degree. The only players I wish well who aren’t on the team are former players who transferred due on good terms (Brendan Adam’s, Carlton etc.) or CT players that didn’t get recruited by UConn. I used to still root for all CT guys but not anymore.
we have to do the things that makes us happy. Your action is innocent since you can feel good about your decision and those individuals you place your hatred upon continue to go about their lives completely unaffected. Win win.I don’t really catch the Mumu referenceOk Mumuwe have to do the things that makes us happy. Your point is well taken. My only retort is that a player that has a 'one and done' mentality does not have the same mentality as other players. To that end, I am a little worried about Castle's mentality this year. I wonder if he has ever been coached this way. I am not saying I would not want Patrick, or Cooper. I am only suggesting that UCONN has won more more titles over the last two decades polishing players over multiple years than Duke and Kentucky have won with 'one and done' players. I guess that's my point.Or maybe he just wants to go so where else. His list has Kentucky and Duke..so, I have a feeling it is not the unimaginable heat associated with Uconn that deterred him.
Josh and his dad did not leave on the best of terms with JC. Dad called JC a mumu which is considered derogatory. Josh made some comments that he didn’t get the same support at UConn that he was getting at his transfer school. Definitely intended as a dig against JC.I don’t really catch the Mumu reference

Maybe @mauconnfan can weigh in on this.
You might want to remove him from your support list and add him to your hate list if this is your current construct.
As far as I’m concerned stuff like this no longer bothers me. I focus on the five NCs and everything else becomes irrelevant.

There is nothing wrong with being financially oriented first. Especially when you want to raise a family.I'm really not. If iam why so much players leave after their first or second year. And now we have players skipping college to the G league or overseas to make money rather than playing in or going to college Not talking for all players but most. Lets say Cooper Flagg commits to Duke or even Uconn and they dont win a CHIP, guarantee he leaves for the NBA as he said he's already going pro after 1 year of college. Your either too old or too young to really know what these kids want more and that's to provide for family and never have to worry about struggling.
FIFYAlex Oriaki and his dad, mumu
Thank you sir I will make the change. I vaguely remember this and had forgotten it. I will do better. I will now hate Josh Carlton and Alex O for good measure. Not Josh. Definitely Alex. Brain farx.Thank you sir I will make the change. I vaguely remember this and had forgotten it. I will do better. I will now hate Josh Carlton and Alex O for good measure. Alex was already on my list

Yep. Just testing y’all! Laughs on me.The player you're referring to is Alex Oriachi, his dad called JC a "mum".

Wingfoot you need to donate more the 25.00 for UConn NIL money.Very disappointing end to the recruiting season. UConn better step up its NIL Program.
How do we know that NIL was the deciding factor for both Big Pat and Flagg?Very disappointing end to the recruiting season. UConn better step up its NIL Program.

Yeah, apparently it’s a Nigerian word, meaning someone is stupid, an idiot, etc.The player you're referring to is Alex Oriachi, his dad called JC a "mum".
That's pretty surprising to me. Still find it weird he went to Kansas State afterwards but I guess @cap10dingus was onto somethingFor anyone who’s keeping track, Trilly spoiled the recruitment for Ngongba. It’s Duke.
Jeez Duke's 2024 class may have more five stars than UConn has ever had.
And the Friar guy wasn't saying he was a K-State lock. He took a victory lap when we were cut. That's pretty surprising to me. Still find it weird he went to Kansas State afterwards but I guess @cap10dingus was onto something
It makes sense. They have an absolutely loaded roster that needs just one thing, a center. They have nobody at center. He's clearly the starter. It's a great situation and I can't blame him for making that decision.Word is Duke. Which makes this one especially more interesting.
K - State would be more tolerable because of the family connection, but with Dan Hurley attitude following the Duke visit, something definitely happened.
He will get lost in the shuffle at duke especially because he is behind offensively.

It's interesting. It takes away some of the surprise of the announcement, for sure, but there's a phenomenon that's been studied about movie/tv show spoilers. Knowing a spoiler first and then watching on average leads to higher enjoyment ratings than just watching the work unspoiled. Humans are weird.I know people get all juiced up about Trilly on here, but I really don't like what he's doing. Let the kids have their moment. Fans can wait a few extra days.
