Establishing a consistent, recognizable identity is step I of a good ad/promo campaign. Keep going!

I just don't see any way to make a word less boring. The new husky dog that will be released 4/18 will be their chance to do something interesting.

We shall see.

Nothing is dumber that than oak leaf, or acorn or whatever that thing is suppose to be. It would be good for Hartford, they have that whole Charter Oak thing. That would make sense. But what the heck does it have to do with UConn?

I actually like it. Looks nice and it's about time they went with just UCONN as the identifier for the school. Here at USC (where i currently work) they went through a similar change/update of the Moniker and I know that the change took 3 years to plan and implement.

I don't know either.... maybe because the "Charter Oak" is the official Connecticut State Tree, or the Charter Oak dorms and apartments on-campus, but who knows really....

Or that while the actual Charter Oak was in Hartford, the actual Charter they put in it was for all of Connecticut... and that UConn is the University OF Connecticut?

I'd wait for the the 18th and the releasse of the revised Graphic Standards Manual in June before cementing judgement.

Well I think president herbst is doing a great job. She's improving the academics of the school and doing the best she can with our current conference situation.

Sad Jonathan is sad. (or was - in 1959 and maybe 1970's.) 1960s Jontathan was a minor character from Hanna-Barbera, apparently.

Hanna Barbera... oh to be a kid again.. the 60's Husky does look a character from that era though... I can't lie I enjoyed that stuff growing up as a kid in the 70's....
