Hello am huskiesforlife am a young obsessed Uconn fan who just loves everything about Uconn I have been to both football and basketball events. I hope to one day to go to this school. But anyways I just wanted to get to know people on this bored. Also sorry I don't have an avatar my phone won't let me for some reason. So anyway I just have a few questions for some of you if you don't mind. Thanks.

1. Who is your favorite Uconn player ever

2. Best uconn team in your opinion

3. Do you prefer watching games at gampel or the XL center

Thank you and you do not need to answer the questions if you don't want.

1. Walter Ray Allen or Kevin Freeman
2. 1995-96 and 1998-1999 are my favorites (Freshman and Senior years, respectively...Go figure), but the 2004 team was the best in terms of talent.
3. Gampel when I went to school, Now? Neither. My couch is the best place to watch almost any game.

Welcome aboard...

Welcome Huskieforlife.

1. Caron
2.1995-1996 team with Ray Allen that lost to UCLA in regional finals 102-96. It was essentially a home game for the Bruins.
3.Gampel in the seats as opposed to the benches for us older folk. Benches for you younguns.
MSG for the BE tournament. Don't buy tickets from scalpers. Was behind the basket when Taliek hit the last second three pointer. Nothing like have Caron run into the stands high fiving all the fans.

I believe that was the 1994-95 team. The 1995-96 team was upset by Mississippi State in the Sweet 16.

.-.
1. Tie: R. Moore / C. Butler
2. 1999 ( best team if not most talented )
3. Gampel, all day

1. Rudy Gay
2. 2004
3. Madison Square Garden...nothing better than the big east tourney

Actually the most talented team may very well have been the 2007 team. Completely underperformed and let their foot off the gas in the Elite 8.

The 2004 team was by far the more talented between them and 1999. 1999 may have been the best pure team, where each player knew exactly what their role was. 1996 was just a lot of fun to watch.

Incidently, not a lot of Edmund Saunders fans on the board, huh?

First: 5 syllables
Second: exactly 7
Third: 5 (just 3 lines)

...and nothing but haikus must posted in the thread. This is incredibly important for mojo.

That was 06. 07 was my senior year. We did not send me out with a very good senior year.

Can you say DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED?

Hey, I'm a new member too so I thought I'd chime in. I'm in college but don't go to UConn. My whole dad's family did though and I've been raised on it since I was a kid. Being a typical sports-crazed kid in the Boston area, UConn basketball was my opportunity to have something that was my own, and though I still love all the Boston sports teams, UConn has always been and will always be the team I invest the most time and emotional energy in.

Anyway, my favorite players are Caron Butler, Ben Gordon, and Kemba.

Hard to say about best Uconn team. I'd either say 2004 team with Ben and Emeka or 2006 team that lost to George Mason (think about the fact that Andrew Bynum had committed that year but then decided to declare for the draft...)

3. Definitely prefer watching at Gampel though I've been to more games in Hartford. Try to get to at least one or two a year.

are you going to carry this thread in night 2 of its life? if not, sign off right now. so shoot, ask me 3 questions.

I like this kid - he uses complete sentences.

That automatically puts him in the top three percent of all posters here.
