New Bowl Projection

FSU fans already eating up Cougars fans about the match up (saying how "horrible" it/Houston is). But ESPN was right in saying this game could/will potentially seal the AAC talk this season about being one of the best this year and for the future. I'm rooting for Houston in this game, but only for the benefit of the AAC and the perception of it.

It would be nice to watch Houston beat FSU. The ACC has been one of the weakest of the P5 conferences and a win here would help show that the AAC can be for real. Will be interesting to see if the conference can keep this pace next season

Bowl season already bestowing gifts on the fan base. This gem was on the UConn website announcement.

Marshall already talking too. Their fans are posting that they will be the only G5 school with 3 straight 10+ win seasons after they beat us.

For Boston area Huskies - there is a semi-redeye scheduled for christmas night at 10pm, arriving in TPA just after 1am. I'm considering it.
That's not bad...logistically anyway...

How do you get on to the "Scion Party Deck" ? Sounds like I need to blackout there during the game.

Based on this thread the toughest job will be distributing the donated tickets.

Who was the MWC supposed to play in that bowl???

Compared to the other G5 conferences the AAC has some decent bowls and opponents. Wins over FSU Auburn and Pitt will look nicely heading into next year....where hopefully we can be in play for a conference championship game.

Hoping that this is first step for UConn football and I can go to a bowl next year as this year is out with family visiting from the 24th through the 27th for the Holiday. Rats.
