The "correct" call would of been to T up Salvadores but since Jersey girl pushed Salvadores a double T was needed at minimum. NOW I believe the refs Explained the situation to both coaches that the T was going to be given to Allen to avoid Mabrey from getting her 3rd. That type of basketball play caused by my spaniard SHOULD not be what warrents Mabrey (senior leader) her 3rd foul which is absolutely HUGE. Happens in basketball a lot.

If ND was hitting 3s like they did earlier in the season, they would be home and dry by now.

I like Stephanie White but some of her comments are puzzling. I think she said JPM would be happy at halftime but not Muffet. Well, if ND goes +8 again in the 2nd half, we'll see who is happy at the end. Muffet won't be thrilled because ND could/should be up further but they're acting like Duke won that half by only going down by 8.

SOUTH Jersey girl reflex I'm OK with but Cable undercutting Greenwell with 2:42 left in the 2 quarter is NOT! Cable does that a couple times per game she going to get someone seriously hurt.

This style of play doesn't suit Notre dame. This is a 4 possession game that feels closer. Duke has cut double digits lead to single digits TWICE so far but is unable to make a run while the game is in single digits. IF Duke is able to do this it puts Notre Dame in a possession that they haven't been in ALL game in a game that has been back n forth. That's what she is meaning. A 6-0 Duke run would put tremendous pressure on a unsettled Notre Dame team thus far.

But still wrong, now the refs are impacting the outcome of the game. What if Allen and Salvadores had 2 fouls also?

I usually like your posts but honestly I don't see where you are coming from with all these undercutting allegations. I really haven't see it happen. It's never called by the officials. Coaches never mention it. Opponents never get mad at Cable because of it. If she was actually doing it, there would be a lot more reaction.

If you mean the play vs Stewie, that was incidental, not deliberate, IMO.

I do mean the play against Stewie and in the same game she got Morgan. She waits for the player to leave her feet then she slide under like she is taking a charge. She did the same against TN vs Diamond and the same against Mitchell when they played OSU. Greenwell tonight at the 2:42 mark of the 2nd quarter.
