Good to see we’re going after offensive transfers cause from what I’ve heard we’re losing someone of the offensive side of the ball.

Interesting you say that because I have certainly noticed a pick up in interest by the staff in WRs. We obviously need a JUCO/Grad TE, but their interest in WRs has me piqued.
 
Gotta weird feeling we won't be seeing some familiar faces come Fall camp. Just a hunch
 
Edsall says he is looking for transfers at WR, TE, DL and surprise - safety.

I haven’t seen them pursue too many DBs in the portal- interesting.

.. and QB.. with us NC State QB Micah Leon's twitter post about being thankful for the UConn scholly offer after his visit.. Looks more and more like we're going to a see even more changes than anticipated.. I'm all for it though... We gotta get/look better out there now.. not in 3 years.. Might be too late for the current ever changing staff by then...

Yes, there has a rush of twitter connections with Micah Leon - a redshirt sophomore transfer QB at NC State starting about two weeks ago. He's a FL kid with a good 6'5 ish frame to work with. Barring a successful appeal, he wouldnt be eligible to help us in 2019 as he would have to sit a year.

Its not clear what he had for offers coming out of Delray Beach FL HS where he had 1085 passing yards and 555 rushing yards a senior. I'm not positive he was even on scholarship at NC State. This spring he was the buried on the depth chart behind at least four other arms.

Maybe the angle here is that he gives us a back up/protection/insurance for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. If Beaudry wins this starting job this fall, who knows what that means for the current QB roster come the spring of 2020.

According to the NC State forum, he's been a walk-on for them. No HS recruiting presence at all. Not sure I understand this one.

Former 4 star DT from Michigan Ron Johnson just entered the portal. Graduated and looking to latch on as a Grad Student.. Has 2 years of playing eligibility left... BTW, he's from NJ... Maybe an option for us one could hope? (and not State Univ of NJ)

Interesting. 3 years at the school and only appeared in one game as a freshman against Hawaii.

Couldn't see the field at Michigan, with all of that 4 and 5 star talent across the LOS... BUT, I think he can see time on our DL in a live game... He's learned something in that system.. Enough to help us out right now...AND he's bright.. an added plus...

I missed this one. So Spalding gets pushed out of WVU (who just accepted a JUCO WR) quickly lands at JMU. The staff jumped on this kid when he entered the portal not very long ago.


Spaulding was a high 3 star back in the 2018 class. Will be eligible to play immediately.

So interesting watching the player churn in the portal. So Josh Johnson - WR at Iowa State that managed to get some snaps exits to Tulsa and now Iowa State replaces him with a JUCO WR.

I'm only familiar with this because the staff had tagged both players on twitter.

Tough to watch this.. Because we (call a spade a spade) sucked so bad, kids are afraid to transfer in here and be the guy that turns the corner for us... a little frustrated.. BUT, shout out to the guys that have taken the lead and were men enough to come here....
