We have to win now. We are the last man standing.
You like to use the second person plural; it mismatches with your posts at times.Hey what do you know, our conference sucks lol
Really is - super chalky and no great moments. At this point not even sure what a great moment was. Lots of blowouts. Best moment may have been that 16 seed play in and it was meaningless. Question becomes is this going to be a thing?Very dry tourny so far, missing monumental upsets and buzzer beaters.
This is the first time I have rooted for Creighton ever.I can hardly remember a world without Kalkbrenner in a Creighton uniform. Gonna be strange from here on out.
Totally. Won 4 of the last 8 national championships.Hey what do you know, our conference sucks lol
Can you imagine how crappy this tournament would be if expanded to 78?Really is - super chalky and no great moments. At this point not even sure what a great moment was. Lots of blowouts. They never had to worry about that, he's turned down a bunch of jobs.On the bright side Creighton doesn't have to worry about losing McDermott

unfortunately it is 2025 and not 2016, 2018, 2023, or 2024Totally. Won 4 of the last 8 national championships.
I'm old enough to remember when every conference was limited to one bid and when the decision was made to expand, a lot of schools that had previously gone reasonably far in the tournament complained that the additional bids for bigger conferences was unfair to them. This was briefly magnified when in the first tournament that allowed a second bid to a conference, the title game had two Big Ten schools (Indiana beat Michigan). We may be watching the end of college sports as we have known it for the last 30-40 years.
You're not going to win championships every year. This really shouldn't be so difficult for you.unfortunately it is 2025 and not 2016, 2018, 2023, or 2024
We do? How do you conclude that?I'm torn. I want Cherington to win, but we have a better chance beating Auburn.
Creighton is the only other team (UConn 1st) I immediately look for bracket placement, especially the last 2 Tournaments. Just saying they are the only team in the Nation, I fear.
We would have games like the UConn Women this afternoon. They won by almost 100 and totally dominated. Can you imagine how crappy this tournament would be if expanded to 78?
we aren't going to be champions every year but having more than one team left before week 2 is a pretty low barYou're not going to win championships every year. This really shouldn't be so difficult for you.
Auburn lost to Yale in the first round last season while we beat the tar out of everyone for the second tournament in a row.
Probably because Creighton owns acreage in our heads. We do? How do you conclude that?
The tides are moving away from the BE. We should maintain perch but I’m not expecting this conference to get stronger going forward. It’s not hard to see where the top portal and HS recruits are going.we aren't going to be champions every year but having more than one team left before week 2 isn't a high bar
we keep jumping on the ACC for having solely Duke
While it is great to reflect on such lofty accomplishments from the recent past, we also need to be concerned with what the environment will be in the not too distant future. A dozen years from now the BE may be a two bid league while every conference below where we currently are will be one bid leagues.Totally. Won 4 of the last 8 national championships.
I saw today the negative side of Kalkbrenner never fouling out.Creighton not athletic enough
Well, if you qualified it that the Big East sucks THIS year, all would be fine.unfortunately it is 2025 and not 2016, 2018, 2023, or 2024
Wait, a talented college team missed 20 layups? A middle school team will not miss 20 layups. They lost because they played horrendously bad. They missed something like 20 layups
How many titles has the SEC won in the last 20 years again??? Is it 1/4 or 1/2 the number that UConn has won?? Hard to keep up with how many we have wonYou're not going to win championships every year. This really shouldn't be so difficult for you.

BTW, I wish that the UConn Men could play like piranhas on D the way the women do. Blood in the water.
