You give up easy

I was right this afternoon, and that was well before the weirdness with Luis.

Creighton is playing well, but Auburn is really, really good. This game feels like an "attaboy" loss for Creighton.

Auburn has so many athletic guards they can throw at you. It’s Broome and what feels like a rotation of 6 similar guards, quick and long.

I'm torn. I want Cherington to win, but we have a better chance beating Auburn.

Creighton is the only other team (UConn 1st) I immediately look for bracket placement, especially the last 2 Tournaments. Just saying they are the only team in the Nation, I fear.

Creighton needs 1 more player. Ashworth, Kalkbrenner, McAndrew and Neal is a very good 4 of a starting 5. That 5th player is a huge hole against a team this good.

Creighton gotta get back on the rope here or this stretch might be the game

The inevitable unraveling - you could feel it coming. Auburn has way too much on the perimeter for this Creighton team. It’s nuts because when we play Creighton if feels like Neal’s athleticism is too much for us, and he looks pedestrian amongst this sea of Auburn guards. Hurley is going to have a ton of work to do to get back to F4 caliber.

The SEC has gone long and athletic.
It works - we were that last year. Arkansas stifled StJ with it. It should be priority in recruitment, what is most baffling about the AM portal pick.

Kalkbrenner or Ashworth is going to have to be dominant the last 11 minutes, and Creighton will need Auburn to miss some shots they usually make.

Screw the Big East. Most Big East schools/fans hate UConn.
It's better for UConn if the Big East teams succeed. You don't have to feel a sense of comradery with the other teams, but the respect that UConn gets when it comes to seeding in the tournament is based on the respect that people have for the conference.

Two hands on a player is an automatic foul. McDermott should not have to call for it.

We were long, big, and incredibly skilled. I wouldn't call us athletic. Newton, Cam, AK, and Clingan certainly aren't explosive run and jump athletes.

The basketball haters would rather see UConn go 0-30 every year if it would give them a reason to complain about the Big East.
