Pull off a miracle tomorrow and laugh a St John's fans for having the better year?

D Smith single handedly keeping this team in it - everyone else barely has a pulse.

I wonder how many SJU bandwagoners will hang around next season
The last crowd shot of fans looked like a casting call for The Walking Dead. The zombie apocalypse approaches.

Gonna be an interesting 7mim left if fouls keep calling

Feels a bit like the ‘04 game vs Dook in Final 4 where K kept riding his guys and Calhoun saved Emeka for crunch time And he dominated down the stretch.

without Zubi, this is like a 20-point game.

St Johns must have at least 12 missed layups and then they are bad at the free throw line. And Luis is having a nightmare game.

Zuby has 21 and 9

St Johns now get em where they want them. How does Arkansas respond.

Game is going to be decided at the free throw line. I really dislike that.

I am going for St. John's, but Arkansas is getting screwed with some of these calls

The UK fan base adores Pitino - if Cal goes further than them it will be hysterical.
Yup Cal and UK doing nothing in the tournament lately followed by Arkansas outlasting UK this year would grind their gears.

It is the potential little things that make life interesting.

I can't find a single SJU flair on the live game thread of over 6k comments

Lots of time for the Johnnies. St Johns lousy foul shooting may be their demise though. Like Pitt in the 2000's, having more than one way to beat teams once you get out of the Big East is necessary in March. Certain stylistic matchups and certain reffing can shrink the margin for error and make it easier to get clipped.

St. John's chances of winning just went up with Richmond fouling out.
