St. Joe's played a great game for 38 minutes, but Martelli only played 5 players and let foul trouble build up. That St. Joe's team was really good.
 
IF Cal wins this game... WOW many folks will have to eat crow he was getting eviscerated early in the season

The next game should be the least of St John's worries right now. Yes St Joe's was very good far better then Dayton that year.

I have always thought Kadary Richmond was wildly overrated. He can't shoot or shoot free throws, and he basically is a momentum player that has the occasional big game surrounded by a lot of mediocre performances. His agent has done a great job convincing the basketball world that he is more than a role player.

Arkansas is more likely to win by 20 than St. Johns is to come back from 12 down. It is early to say this game is over, but this game is over. It is impossible to win in March with a team that can't shoot.

It is up to Creighton and UConn to keep this weekend from being a Big East wipeout.
 
I don't trust Squid still why was Ivisic left in the game at least keep him on the perimeter with 4 fouls and 12 minutes left.

The UK fan base adores Pitino - if Cal goes further than them it will be hysterical.

Ark has the beef to stay with StJ, when no one in the BE did. We knew they couldn't shoot, but this is another level and Luis is killing them.

Ivisic just fouled out, and Aidoo has four fouls. Arkansas foul trouble is going to cost them. St. John's is used to being down 12 in the second half frequently.

St Johns is gonna get calls with the crowd on the refs so every point scored by Arkansas is huge to be fair they do foul a great deal themselves.
 
Luis picked quite the game to be all time bad. Richmond hans't been far behind. It's like they've never been in the NCAA tournament before. These blown rebound opportunities hurt.
 
Arkansas ML was the easiest money and most predictable upset of the entire tournament

Thanks Pitino for not keeping your mouth shut about Cal
