Johnson eFG: 77.6%
Reed eFG: 68%
Stewart: eFG: 63.5%

Johnson DRtg: 101.8
Reed DRtg: 96.2
Stewart DRtg: 110.5

So you think we need more Stewart?

Neither one is willing to take a shot more than 3 feet from the basket, so yes. Every minute at the 4 should be going to Stewart and Karaban

Our bigs wouldn't be in foul trouble all the time if we had better defenders at other positions. More Stewart, Ball, Mahaney and recently, bad knees Diarra = more fouls on whoever is under the basket.
UConn never tried other than a few minutes when Karaban was hurt, so we will never know if it would have worked. We also will never know if a zone could have helped because we didn’t try that either.

St. John's has to start hitting some shots or they are going to lose by 10+.

Sju must be shock meeting this much resistance in the paint. They usually own the paint in the BE. But Arkansas has unicorns like brazllle

.-.
SJU expending a ton of energy and so few points.

Undercutting Luis on the rebound was a really dirty play by #1 on Arkansas. Don't recommend doing something like that in a pickup game.

St Johns looks really bad
And yet Arkansas is only up 8. Not good for the Razorbacks. St. John's has missed 13 or 14 straight FGs are in still within striking distance. When they start making some shots, this one will be over.

.-.
Johnnies have missed 11 layups, no Kadary, and Arkansas is only up 2 points.

Even though the pressure is on St John's in this game, it does feel like Arkansas has the pressure to hold the lead. When St John's takes a lead they take over.

That’s a joke of a flagrant.

No it isn't, and the undercut by #1 on Luis a few minutes ago was a flat out dirty play that would get someone a punch in the face if they did it in a pickup game. I don't think this confrontation occurred in a vacuum.

Momentum shift on the flagrant. St John’s has a little bit of us from last year in them. They can get down early, they hang around, then just methodically build a lead.

Spike Lee left his home at the Garden. I swear this guy lives in basketball arenas.

.-.
St. John's is going to win by 20. Smith, Wilcher, and Richmond are all sitting on the bench with 2 fouls and SJU now has the lead. That's a yikes for Arkansas.

If that was the right call then I assume the refs will be calling 15 flagrant fouls today
The refs have to set a tone, clearly made no play on the ball. Just calling what I see and not sticking to a narrative. I know your rooting for Arkansas here I get it.

Purdue game was a ho-hummer. You put a mid-major coming off an upset as a stand-alone game and that's what you risk getting.

Looking forward to this St John's game.
The committee giving Purdue a regional in Indianapolis as a 4-seed was certainly a choice. Sampson should be irked.

That Richmond miss...oof
