A little? It's dreadful.Iowa had a sellout today in their battle with Mizzou. Official attendance - 12,376.
UConn attendance a little disappointing.

You need to leave Duke the heck outta this thread View attachment 41390
That was the year Duke men's and women's were playing the same afternoon. not that Duke ever drew alot of fans for women's tourney home games.
I would guess most UConn fans are traveling at least 30 miles for these games and many are traveling much farther.Better crowd in Storrs, but still disappointing. The crowds looked and sounded bigger than the reported numbers. Whatever happened to the constant 10,167?
South Carolina played "at home," but that was in Charlotte, about 80-100 miles away. They draw much better in Colonial Life Arena.
So which Duke game were you attending? Inquiring minds want to know.You need to leave Duke the heck outta this thread View attachment 41390

I will be very disappointed if attendance isn't near a sellout tonight, given that a Sweet 16 berth is at stake.
The attendance was up 2000 for Sunday's game.Iowa had a sellout today in their battle with Mizzou. Official attendance - 12,376.

Add in the highest prices of any location and you’re almost there.Some complacency. Some frustration with a team that doesnt play as beautifully as previous teams have. And schedule times. With a huge portion of the fanbase 30-90 minutes away, 6:30 on a Friday is not easy. And 7pm on Sunday pushes things kinda late.
2 day average:
2015 = 3576
2016 = 5050
2017 = 6972
2018 = 7556
2019 = 5275
Boffo sweet 16 attendance so far
PORT 11324
ALNY 8765

I bet Portland and Albany are sell outs!I’ll be surprised if there are 3000 in Greensboro on Monday.
While I’d love to see a sellout tomorrow in Albany, I doubt we’ll get one. The TUC holds 15,229 for basketball. Considering that the attendance was 8765 for the Sweet 16, I don’t believe we’ll see another 6500 fans show up tomorrow.I bet Portland and Albany are sell outs!

They were almost pleading with people to come back for the game. Of course I came back.... but attendance was probably around 3,000 or so.I bet Portland and Albany are sell outs!
I recall back in 2007... and Duke was upset in the Sweet 16 by Rutgers... and you had a Rutgers-Arizona State Final on a Monday NightThey were almost pleading with people to come back for the game. Of course I came back.... but attendance was probably around 3,000 or so.

I know it was the students spring break for the first game so no kids were on campusAnyone have reasons for the CT attendance being so low? Hard to believe the fans are staying away in droves for the best program in women's basketball history.
Another 11k in Portland. Cant find the Albany attendance so far.
The AP write-up says 9204.Another 11k in Portland. Cant find the Albany attendance so far.
I saw a lot of tickets on Stub Hub for pretty high prices. I assume they didn’t sell.I’m surprised about the CT attendance. I tried to buy tickets and the only seats available on line were ones that were less desirable. If half of Gampel was truly empty, there is a disconnect between what was offered for sale and what should have been available.
I’m not sure of the numbers but definitely more people in Albany today than Friday.While I’d love to see a sellout tomorrow in Albany, I doubt we’ll get one. The TUC holds 15,229 for basketball. It looks like about 600+ more today.I’m not sure of the numbers but definitely more people in Albany today than Friday.
