What should Thibs have done? They focused on stopping Brunson and left everyone else open. Nobody could make a shot.
Give Mccbride some minutes, keep Obi Toppin in when there was 5 minutes left, play Grimes more, attack Jimmy Butler after he rolled his ankle.

How are the Warriors a 6th seed, that’s a 67 win team when healthy. They just save their wad for the playoffs now.

Toppin played 31 minutes. They tried to attack, RJ turned it over three times in a row. Deuce McBride, are you serious?

Curry only played 56 games, Wiggins only played 37 games.

Epic game from Steph. At least one of the Warriors and Lakers are going home this round.

Tonight's game is absolutely huge for the 76ers. If they can win, they get homecourt and can potentially give Embiid another day off.

Kenny Smith had a solid point at the half. Sixers are likely winning handily with Emblid. The Celtics were scoring easily at the rim. Just no resistance there without Emblid.

This is a lesson, especially with a 24 second clock, you cannot start running clock with 2 minutes to play. Get good shots, play your offensive game. Celtics have lost at least two playoff games trying to run clock. It’s terrible strategy. Score at every opportunity.

Denver has gotten hosed on two fourth quarter calls (Cam Payne throwing the ball to no one and PHX getting the ball back, and the charge on Gordon), but they are salty tonight.

Denver does not look like an NBA championship team, but they play smart and Murray can take over a game. I am even warming up on Malone as HC.

Not sure what to think of Mazzulla right now. He was gifted the most talented roster in the league. Feels like he might be in over his head.
Quite a lot of questionable decisions in both series. Williams isn't playing enough, especially late. I don't like the substitutions. White and Brogdan are both good, but less good together. The slow-down game when they have a lead has led to real issues. Celtics run clock and Young and now Harden make clutch 3s. The other issue is attacking a defense designed to double penetration, leading to turnovers. Kick the ball out and take the open 3s. Stop driving into traffic and expecting a foul call late in the game. There were probably a few that could have been called last night, but that's the playoffs.

Side note: Philly gets away with so many offensive fouls. Harden constantly pushing off is really pretty absurd and they set about 20+ moving screens for him last night, none of which was called.

Grizzlies inform Dillon Brooks he will not be brought back:

"Brooks, 27, a second-round pick out of Oregon in 2017, has spent his entire six-year NBA career with the Grizzlies. He is the Grizzlies’ longest-tenured player, establishing himself as a three-and-D wing who could serve as a starter for some teams. He has often been considered part of their heart and soul, as a fiery, gritty defender not afraid to say what’s on his mind..."

Does anyone else want to jump on the "Refs are out to get the Boston Celtics" bandwagon?

The thing about the NBA is that the OTHER team gets a lot with a ton. I could argue Smart flops on every drive, Harden got molested on some drives, Tatum pummels guys on D but cries if touched on O. The only real conclusion is refereeing is woefully inconsistent.

10 fouls called on your beloved Cs last night. TEN. Total. Not in a quarter, not in a 1/2. 10.

That’s 1/2 of what they called against the other team.

Yup, an absolute conspiracy.
