NBA November Thread

Devin Booker giving Steph hell in this 4th quarter as the Spurs were trying to stage one last comeback. Booker drew 3 fouls on Steph in about 15 seconds. Wemby has looked human tonight, Suns put the clamps on him

Took 3 years to get a proper breakdown of the NBA Cup. Adam Silver must be so happy to have his league properly covered by the media and not be under the ineptitude of ESPN.

At the end of the day he still has the finals on ESPN and he could have opted not to if he wanted to. He wants that Disney job once his tenure at commissioner is over.

I wouldn’t be surprised at him aiming for that. Also not surprised at the Finals being there.

Can’t give the Finals to any of the new media partners. But man if they keep this up they may have to talk about that in the next deal.

Prime and NBC are applying pressure to how the league should be covered. Even though NBC studio team is not good so far and clunky. Killing it presentation wise though.

Hawkins getting an opportunity with injuries tonight and it's more of the same in regards to his inefficient shooting. Dumars picking up his 4th year option is honestly kinda nuts given what he's shown so far in his career, but Dumars making nutty front office decisions is par for the course.

Cam with a pretty solid night but Grizzlies were getting handled pretty much all game, they've looked pretty miserable overall this season.

Celtics failed in their tanking mission last night, blowing out the Wizards. Knew it couldn't last. White and Pritchard had been two of the worst shooters in the NBA, despite metrics showing that their shots were open or wide open. Rebounding is still abysmal.

Its early in the season but tbh DC's play has been very disappointing, not seeing the progression.

Shooting the 3 a bit and way better from the FT line. Fouling less and His 2pt% is nore efficient but I'd like to have seen him average 12-ish points per game. The per-36 numbers show a pretty similar player.

They just knocked off the undefeated defending champs. I wish his offense looked better but his defense is a big part of why they're 5-3.
I know, I watched the game, which is why I posted what I did. I also saw when OKC wasn't guarding DC while Portland was holding onto a late 3 point lead and the ball was passed to DC wide open and he wouldn't shoot it, leading to a turnover. Splitter then had to sub him out of the game.

Yeah this thing with Morant seems to be a big drag on the team

Tough to ever say anything about Clingan around here that doesn't include the phrase "greatest" without getting pushback. Be careful out there!

Have we noticed Cam Spencer getting serious playing time and serious scoring? Averaging 9 pts./game making the most of his minutes.
Cam is just a hooper. He’s going to take advantage of every opportunity you give him.

not helping my parlay but he's diming and bricking

He's awesome though - he's quickly moving up my list of all-time Huskies ... might be rushmore status already with Ray, Bazz, Kemba.

And foul baiting and traveling yes
He gets fouls because people can’t guard him.

Either you play him tight and risk getting a foul, or you leave him room and he’s dotting a pull up in your eye. Beautiful to watch.

He’s a 6’6 efficient Allen Iverson.

If anyone was wondering Jokic is still the best player in the world. I think he's somehow gotten even better. He's shooting 77% from 2 this season. 24 ppg, 13.5 rebs, 12 assists, 2.3 steals.

Jokic is amazing. But I think the best player in the world is the guy who won the scoring title, MVP, Finals MVP, and championship on the youngest team in the NBA.

First player to do it since Jordan.

I still think Jokic is the best player, but Shai is pushing it. Also, lest we forget Giannis, who is quietly becoming a borderline top-15 player of all time.
