I meant the numbers posted in the tweet in the post I responded to which had Castle at 6'4.5 w/o shoes in the past. There is no way Steph Castle is 6'2.25"

LMAO
Yeah but then they undersold Clingan as he should of been at least 7'3" with shoes and not 7'2".UConn lists players with shoes height (say +1.5 inches). Spencer at 6'3 without shoes is -> 6'4.5 with shoes. Same with Newton at 6'3.25 -> 6'4.75. If Castle is at 6'4.5 -> 6'5.75.
So UConn lists the backcourt as 6'4, 6'5, 6'6. Not terribly off the w/ shoes likely measurements.
Combine measurements here:
Karaban under 6'7 without shoes. Might tick his stock down a slight bit.

People actually thought Castle was really 6’2?
You can’t underestimate the collective stupidity of the internet. Especially NBA fans judging a college player they never watched and may have never actually seen even in photos.

Baffled it is still on the site as that. Hopefully they change it soon.I was staring at my screen trying to understand what I was seeing. It didn't make any sense.
Not great numbers for Reed. Smallish guard with small arms.
I was confused trying to parse that tweet. I think he is saying he measured that in the past, probably before one of the US camps. My guess is that is a bare minimum for his size.
Think those are actually good measurements for Karaban. Puts him at a solid 6'8 for his with shoes measurements.
But still small for an NBA guard and lack of wingspan is going to hurt on playing defense.Actually better than I thought it would be. He's bigger than Dillingham.
Standing reach is the most finnicky. Could be that Clingan stretched to the max and Edey gave a half effort. Could be that Edey is trying to boost his vertical which subtracts the standing reach as part of the measurement.OK...so how can Edey be 2" taller and have a 4" greater wingspan than Donovan but yet have the same Standing Reach? Posture differences?

Also, neck length plays a role I imagine. How high on the body the shoulders areStanding reach is the most finnicky. Could be that Clingan stretched to the max and Edey gave a half effort. Could be that Edey is trying to boost his vertical which subtracts the standing reach as part of the measurement.
Could also be Edey has broader shoulders to get a bigger wingspan, which does actually appear somewhat possible.Standing reach is the most finnicky. I've always considered standing reach to be the most important measureable for big men/rim protectors.Standing reach is maybe more important that either tbh.
Clingan has really high shoulder blades compared to Edey. That and flexibility is the difference would be my guess
I think it's about time that folks cut the hate Charlotte stuffThrilled Charlotte dropped to 6....DC safe from them at least, Castle needs to pray picked in top 5
DC to Hawks at #1 works for me
