I am so confused by this. Jim Mora allowed Wash St to get into his head over the tampering, and he continued to talk(conversate) with them about the tampering? It reads as though he was considering a Wast St job offer to me.

That's the quote from the player. I thought it were Mora's words as well

Some Wazzu fans were telling me on the r/CFB that he interviewed for the job before Rogers just got hired, but I can't find any proof of this

The off-season this year started about a month later due to being in a bowl. Now we can begin to compare his hermit status from last off-season to this off-season.
 
I thought the tweet was pretty clear. Mora first quoted a player who was talking about his interaction with Wazzu. Then Mora added his own commentary about tampering. I love the fire.

It seems the Wazzus don't understand the quotes either. They think he's talking about himself. smh And their defense of course is: "everyone is doing it."

Based on Mora’s reported new average $2m/year salary, Pullman being Pullman, and whatever the new PAC may end being, Wazzu’s 25% lower compensation may not exactly be massively enticing.

New Wazzu coach Jimmy Rogers reportedly will earn about $1.57m/year, also about $1/2 million < Oregon State’s coach. From Mora’s Idaho home, Pullman’s still 4+ hours flying commercial (2 legs), a charter 1 hour flight, or an 8 hour drive.

That really rubs me the wrong way. Something just doesn't sit right with Yates being defensive MVP and immediately announcing he's back in the portal to just committ to the team he dominated? I'm trying not to be tinfoil hat here, but the math isn't mathing if it's not tampering.
