Yes, but last year was the aberration based on the last decade. The Pac12 before last year with the exception of Stanford was pretty consistent in not playing to their seeding.

I'm sorry, but I'm calling shenanigans on this as well. This was the fashionable narrative among last year's Pac-12 detractors, based almost entirely on what happened in 2015 and then somehow portrayed as longstanding pattern. I doubt that the data supports this in any significant way.
