20-15 Beavs after Q1. They might have rediscovered their touch from behind the arc (4-6 so far).

Because they can sell the pink unis, pink t-shirts etc. and donate the profits to cancer research. Or at least some of the profits.
Don't teams (UConn) auction off the pink unis? I am guessing that money might be donated.
Or is that what you, @Orangutan, meant?

So there's a great game going on (that everybody can watch because it's on ESPN2) and all the chatter is about uniforms still?

.-.
Really a bad foul call on Hebard IMO when she had already tipped the ball. She and Ionescu are the two players that absolutely must stay in the court for Oregon. They don't have depth.

Where is Sabally? No impact at all so far.

Hebard limps to the bench, landed awkward. She also took 3 or 4 shuffle steps w/ no traveling call.

Hebard hyperextended her knee. Uh oh.

.-.
We talking football or basketball?

I believe in playing good defense but the reality is the game has changed and you have to be able to score to win games. Its becoming more offensive rounded. Good teams will find ways to score no matter how good the defense is.

Our own HC should take note.

I am dying laughing at your profile pic.

Oregon St has played Hebard very physical and she fell to the floor several times in this first half.
Now it looks questionable whether she'll be able to play the rest of this game.

This is bad.

Morris w/ a swat on Ionescu. Their really tall players haven't been much of shot blockers this year but they are definitely bothering the Ducks tonight.

It figures that Oregon State would play mediocre most of the season and now suddenly look like world beaters against Oregon.

Ball screen defense has been much better on Ionescu so far and that’s been the difference. Although, she’s too good and too smart to not figure it out sooner or later.

Ionescu has looked really bad shooting the ball. What a difference from the Stanford game.

Feeling a little salty? OSU looked pretty good on Friday against the Ducks as well. Big difference is the 3's are falling tonight.

Hebard looks like she's not going to play.

This game is over. Congrats, Oregon State.

Hebard done for the half..re-evaluating at halftime. Not sure what they can do other than MRI but not sure they would be able to do that there. Seems to be done for the night, I would assume.

Yeah I mean they choke away their lead (again) to Notre Dame and then they drop a game to a middling Texas A&M team in Hawai'i. I wish they'd show out in their nonconference the way they play vs. Oregon.

Makes more sense you’re an Oregon fan after some of your comments on other threads. You would fit in well with UConn fans on here when our team is struggling.

It's as if Collier was injured and Katie Lou was having one of her bad nights (like Sunday). If Oregon loses, does UConn move to #2?

.-.
Somebody forgot to tell Oregon the game is over. Cut an 11 point deficit to 6.

If OSU does win, I don't want to see this get spun as it doesn't count because Hebard was injured. Beavs were in control while she was playing.

No offense but comparing Hebard to Collier is a bit disrespectful to Pheesa but I get the point you were trying to make.

And this is called being preemptively salty.

Of course it'll put an asterisk on it. Oregon's chances of coming back to win took a crippling blow when she went out injured.

How about showing some class and concern for the injured player?

Can't argue that. They play ND tough every time but can't finish the game off. A&M game they just flat out weren't ready to play, laid an egg in that one.

Terrible end to the half for OSU. Just chucking long 3's and holding onto the ball until the shot clock was about to expire. Left the door open for the Ducks.

Was anyone on here happy she went down? You’re being overly defensive because your team is losing. Relax. I hope she is okay, hate to see any athlete get hurt, even ones on Tennessee or ND.
