I haven't watched Rutgers very much but I did see them earlier this year.

Their defense has been good for the most part but I recall them being pretty awful offensively. Not a lot of consistent shooting at all.

Zero adjustments at halftime for NC State to get back in transition. How they don’t sprint 3 back everytime a shot goes up is confusing. You’re just not going to get many 2nd chances against ND.

I see from the box score they're in significant foul trouble and Indiana is winning the game from the FT line.

Rutgers has been called for 18 PFs midway through 3Q and has 2 starters with 4 fouls each.
Indiana shooting 14-16 FTs.

In Jan (roughly), they scored 73, 73, 74, 71, 62, 65, 76, 66 (L), 69, 69 going 9-1. (Avg = 70)
Since then 46, 48, 39. All losses.
Doubtful they'll break 50 tonight either.

ND is great in transition but they might be more susceptible to losing this year in the tournament because Arike has seemed to play into trying to live up to the game-winners hype. She doesn’t know when to stop shooting even when she’s 5-20. They are too talented around her for her to keep shooting when she’s not hitting.

I think it's over anyway, but wow that last sequence. NC State tried to throw a lob entry pass, clanked it off the rim, ND gets out in transition and gets a bucket as the quarter ends.

This might be nit picking but does anyone else notice how unenthusiastic ND players seem to be on the court when someone else on their team makes a great play? Mabrey makes a great pass to Young who barely beats the buzzer and Marina just runs back to the bench. Doesn’t congratulate her teammate. There might be bigger problems going on this year for ND that no one knows about.
