But you can vouch for it. There are TWO banners hanging there in the rafters at Duke. One says AP Final National Ranking 1 2004 and the other says USA Today Women's Final National Ranking 1 2003. In both of those years UConn beat Tennessee for the National Championship. At least the banner in SC is for a year that there was NO National Champion and they were actually ranked #1 in ALL the polls to end the year. LOL

There are a whole lotta Banners up in the rafters.... so I though I have probably seen those particular ones in the past....... I don't recall much about them. I had a bit more to say, but I will edit myself... as I'm trying to be nicer in 2022.

Zero chance SC stays #1. They lost to an unranked team who was missing their best player. They probably drop to 3 or so.

As a SC fan, it doesn’t bother me. Being the underdog when you are great has its advantage. If SC is as good as we all thought they are they’ll be right back up on that top line. They play Thursday at LSU and Sunday against Kentucky.
