I don’t think it’s meaner than being so deliriously happy she fouled out.

There is a counting and chanting thing that they do to players that foul out. I've never liked it and 30 years hasn't made it wear better.

South Carolina fans really make me laugh. This guy made a gesture on counting Danberry's fouls in her face after she collected her 5th foul.

It's a USC tradition when somebody fouls out. 1,2,3,4,5...bye bye. Don't go away mad, just go away! I've been to virtually every home game for 38 seasons and it's a tradition that even predates that. It's a sports competition, not a Pillsbury Bake-off.
