MHOC 2017/2018 Season

Good night for UConn and my alma mater (who just got a B1G sweep in the North Country). Impressed that UConn shook off the effects of the night before and just got down to business to get the W. Kinda like my teams this year.
As long as they get balanced scoring they should be ok...if Max has to carry the scoring load all year and the 2nd and 3rd lines don't step up it will be a LONG year. It will fall on Huska to give up 2 goals or less every game for them to have a shot at a win

Btw, I invite folks to come back to USCHO and post once in awhile. I have found this board to have heavy censoring and message control over on football so I am transitioning back to USCHO. The hockey moderation is fine but the very idea that they have control pisses me off.

Does anyone know the game time on October 21 ? Football's playing at 12 noon. I hope they get a 7 pm start time.

It’s a 5:00 p.m. start. I may try for a triple header: football at noon, hockey at 5:00 and soccer at 7:00 (hope to make 2nd half).

Did the triple header last yr.

The 12, 3:30, 7 triple is much better.

5:00 start will make it more difficult

I agree. The real question for me is, what time do I start tailgating? May need to pace myself for the sake of my liver.

The nut job who thinks the football program is being cut under any- ANY - budget and thinks this board is owned by UConn (lmao) is mad on line

Sadly you are wrong. But I won't stoop to calling you a nut job. If the university does take a $300M hit, as was recently passed by the legislature, you are looking at FCS football.

Curious about who you think owns the Boneyard though.

Louisville basketball could become like Maine hockey - once they got caught and exposed for cheating, their program died a slow death.
