Happened on the FB field in the N Texas - Army bowl game.

I don't know what the stats currently are, but it feels like we are getting beat badly on the boards. If we can take care of the second chance stuff, we'll be fine...

20-15 on the boards - favoring Maryland.

We did not handle the press well, eh? Pheesa and Briona in a bit of foul trouble. All the UCONN starters contributing. I suspect it will continue to be a game of mini runs. UCONN got out well in the 1st quarter, Maryland came out strong in the 2nd quarter, but UCONN turned it around. Lots of foul problems for UCONN at this point. I expect to see a LOT of Butler in the 2nd half...

I also hate when Doris does her "I'm gonna go outta my way not to sound like a UConn fan" routine.

Bet not. Maryland is a really good team. I thought that this would be our toughest game - even more so than ND.

Katie Lou looks like death warmed over and her shooting reflects that.
Williams is having a fine game except she has three fouls.
Napheesa is not doing well at all. Geno needs to come up with a plan to get her going.
Uconn outside shooting sucked. UConn rebounding sucked.
