That one ref should have his salary docked for a week. It's one thing to have toss-up calls---it's another to put premiere players in jeopardy with phony calls in a huge game.

We need to get some stops on the defensive end because I don't think we can match baskets with them like we did towards the end of the 3rd period. They were shooting layups we were forced to shoot jump shots.

Maryland will not go way. I expect a push by them in the 4th quarter. UCONN is in foul trouble and needs to play conservatively in the post. Some people keep saying UCONN "needs a loss" so they can learn and see how hard it is... but I disagree. They have been SEVERELY tested this season - all sorts of adversity. And it makes them grow and improve. When was the last time 2 stars for the team entered the 4th quarter with 4 fouls each?
