Dangerfield and/or Butler will need to step it up in the 4th quarter . Don't see how Gabby and Napheesa don't foul out of this game. Butler needs to get rebounds and score some points in 4th quarter.
 
Butler with 2! Kia and Katie are playing like real badasses tonight, and Gabby as well.
 
We've done a nice job today of finding that extra pass in the paint. Nice assist by Gabby there...
 
That one ref should have his salary docked for a week. It's one thing to have toss-up calls---it's another to put premiere players in jeopardy with phony calls in a huge game.

We need to get some stops on the defensive end because I don't think we can match baskets with them like we did towards the end of the 3rd period. They were shooting layups we were forced to shoot jump shots.
 
Maryland will not go way. I expect a push by them in the 4th quarter. UCONN is in foul trouble and needs to play conservatively in the post. Some people keep saying UCONN "needs a loss" so they can learn and see how hard it is... but I disagree. They have been SEVERELY tested this season - all sorts of adversity. And it makes them grow and improve. When was the last time 2 stars for the team entered the 4th quarter with 4 fouls each?
 
Collier needs to get back in this game. Butler is killing them on both ends of the floor.
