Close: Knoblauch. Fun fact: Knoblauch is German for garlic.Possibly Chuck Knoblauck (sp)
He played 3x better than anyone else on our teamAt least two missed bunnies in first half.
The problem with the "Yips" is he so use to overpowering people with his brute strength. He just needs to use more finesse at times like Bouk. Maybe Bouk can teach a little how to finish at the rim. Martin definitely has the skills to get to the rim and be a big time player but just a little more finishing will make him unstoppable. Also, hit those FT's.Last 5 minutes..Wasn't seeing "yips"going to the hole.. Onions..

Wouldn't mind an occasional dunk from in close.. Not sure he has the quick hops that some of our guys have..The problem with the "Yips" is he so use to overpowering people with his brute strength. I saw the quick hops in games with some of his dunks. I think he needs to implement that at times but he likes the spin move a lot and is normally off balance and can't gather. Probably another reason for the easy missed shots. Just needs to tighten up his game. I'm glad we have him for sure as if he was in a redshirt year I couldn't imagine who we could turn to for scoring. Maybe look for more inside scoring. We barely looked to score inside this game with post moves which was surprising since how well we did against Butler.Wouldn't mind an occasional dunk from in close.. Glad to have him along for the ride this year.. Great energy/attitude....
Thank you! Normally I dont acknowledge crap like this...Get rid of this stupid thread! We don't win without him.
It's crazy how many bunnies he misses. Easy ones like that last one too.at least two more today. And counting. I don't get it.
Don’t disagree but Johnnie’s stud wasn’t great from the line either. I think Martin has bad technique. Too much palm and not enough fingers. Cole’s shot is not soft. If not straight in, he doesn’t get the roll.Just no "touch" at release. Josh suffers with the same problem. Lack of aim and concentration perhaps? Or, simply just unable to lay the ball up in a soft manner in order to "get the roll". Add to that his 60% FT average....completely unacceptable. Both he and Cole missed 5 out of 8 FTs in the last 2 mins....make them all, they win.
He’s like the most athletically unathletic person we’ve had since Sid Wilson.Very odd because he does everything very well until he releases the ball. And then at times its just atrocious. Like he'll miss everything from just a few feet away.
Martin either needs a shrink, or he needs to work on his vertical until he can just simply jump over everyone and dunk. I'm talking dunking from the foul line ability.
