He has such a silky smooth release. Being a lefty helps too.Great win that should keep us top-25.
Let's never talk about those TOs again.
Solo may be our best shooter ever outside of Ray
I mean obviouslt Ray was a far better player as a sophomore overall? But as a PURE shooter, nothing else considered? Solo may honestly have him beat.
There is not an analyst alive that hasn't been trashed on the BY. They hate everyone except Bill Raftery. How could anyone complain about Gus Johnson he was awesome, spoke very highly of Hurley and our team.
Gus is an acquired taste, I think he clearly is better at basketball than football. His excitable style much more conducive to faster pace sports. That said he can over do it at times. How could anyone complain about Gus Johnson he was awesome, spoke very highly of Hurley and our team.
Boat and Adams hit some big shots too but I get what you’re saying. Those guys went all the way. This of course, is gonna come across as hyperbolic, but I don’t know that I’ve seen a dagger player like solo since Kemba or Shabazz.
Rashad had big hoop to send game to OT. I was there and pumped for hours. Solo with more hoops tonight but reminds many of us of Rashad.last game that comes to mind UConn defeating Washington in the Sweet 16 in 2006
Loaded class of frosh coming. You'll be okay.I'm a little sad after this game.
NBA scouts are gonna be all over Ball now.
Not calling him Ray but the line was much closer back thenRay shot 44.5% from 3 his sophomore year (46.6% his junior year). That was on 85/191 volume. Ball is at 45.6% on 67/147 after tonight.
Wild.
Yeah crazy. Marquette had 63 shots and UConn had 42. That's not a recipe that usually wins games. They shot 22 free throws and we shot 19. They only hit 12 and we hit 15. 12-19 from three must have been the difference. We also out rebounded them by 10 (36 to 26) which definitely helped also. How the hell can a team win with 25 turnovers?
tired hearing about Mitchell's D. He grabs and impedes on every play.Shaka’s defensive game plan on AK was wild. Even when he set a screen and tried to flare out of it to the wing, they were grabbing a handful of jersey so he couldn’t disengage. Shaka is just made for the BE and the way this league calls games. Every MU game I watch, I understand why he didn’t make it at Texas. This style just doesn’t play nearly as well outside of the BE.
He is a hell of a defender but he definitely gets to be more aggressive and physical in the league. Not a knock on him, he plays how the refs call the game.tired hearing about Mitchell's D. He grabs and impedes on every play.
