I mean obviouslt Ray was a far better player as a sophomore overall? But as a PURE shooter, nothing else considered? Solo may honestly have him beat.
Yes agreed not as good a player over all but man that shot is the definition of pure.

Obviously Solo.

But many unsung hero’s. Stewart’s cold blooded start. Ross’s defense. Samson with a phenomenal game and made all his free throws. Tarris provided value! Hass gutted it out. AK played 40.

And how about our coaching staff. First game all year we essentially switched 1 through 5 on defense most of the game. I loved that. It fits our pieces so much better.
Moving Ross over to cover kam Jones basically saved the game.

Solo took over. He was a sniper tonight. Crazy win. Wouldn't expect it either 25 turnovers and Diarra hurt. Boys came through.

Need to play Ball a little more with the ball in his hands as the pg.

Solo Ball MVP by a mile! Just an amazing performance tonight.

The team looked so much better, a real turnaround from DePaul and a reaffirmation of my belief in them this year.

Holy cow, Marquette is crazy with the turnover generation. Now we take on St J!

With the consistency (and performance in a big one) by Solo, Ross found some defensive acumen, and Liam hopefully getting healthy...our ceiling got a little higher tonight.

I suspect Hass' injury explained his game tonight, particularily his defense.

I still wish Solo was more aware on help defense, but he was better than usual on his man tonight.

How was this not a pretty win? UConn beat a top 10 team on the road, without its best player and with his PG hurt, and led wire to wire, with the lead never getting closer than 6 after about the 4 minute mark of the game.
If you watched the game it was not a pretty win. The unforced errors(turnovers) were egregious and we won largely because it’s a horrible matchup for Marquette. That said, if you read the box score, it’s beautiful.

He would most definitely get drafted but not until 2nd round.

If he stays another year and works on his drive to the basket skills, he can easily a 1st round pick. I think he stays.

That win may have been worth more than the Nova & Xavier losses combined. Did not see it coming.

Shout out to Ross who not only played great d but was a stabilizer on offense, taking care of the basketball.

As impressive as Solo’s multiple daggers was his 10 rebounds just as impressive. Amazing win when you least expect, the best kind.
