Marquette Post Game Meltdown Thread

I imagine that can be Jackson?

Jackson isn't going to be guarding the other teams PG every night. We need a real PG, particularly on defense. Someone like Diarra that can hit a shot and give up 7-10 points a game.

I’m totally good with someone like Diarra as a backup point guard, as long as our starter can score the rock.

Marquette concentrated on taking away the three and not worrying about Sanogo until he got the ball. And it worked. I think we will see more and more of that.

So tired of the Danny Hurley road losses. Does anyone know his BE road record against teams not named DePaul and Georgetown the past 5 years?? Gotta be 20%. Guy screams mid.

Winning on the road in this league is apparently hard. Remember 2011? This league is tough. I know we don’t have Kemba but the level of the top teams is there.

DC made a double double look easy. Need more minutes.

I wonder if going forward, we can just dole out minutes for whoever has hot hand on a give night. Seems to me it’s a winning formula.

As soon as Sanogo in for Dc, our 9-0 run erased.

Clingan is incredible and Karaban is really good. Our "big three" is overrated, it's way too easy to blanket Hawkins and crowd Sanogo and Adama is a major downgrade defensively compared to Clingan and Whaley. Point guard play remains the biggest problem.

I keep waiting for Hurley to breakthrough and start winning some of these road games and it just doesn't happen. We're always the ones on our heels.

I just want to win one close road game. To me, at least one of these three was winnable.

Brutal road stretch for sure but we're a top 10 team and should have snatched one of our losses.

You saw that too?

We lost on the road to three ranked teams, who also lead in the Big East standings. I'm not worried. Let's defend home court. I expect us to run the table over the next 7 until @Creighton February 11th.

I thought we were fine tonight. Too many turnovers, but just a tough loss on the road against a good team. Same as the X loss although the Hurley T was frustrating in that one. The only game that really bothered me was Providence. If we can hold serve at home against X, Providence and Marquette, we’ll be fine.
