March madness round two Sunday

Ehh. The vast majority didn’t want Hurley fired. That was a small minority.

Everyone at Rupp Rafters wants him gone. They wanted him gone last year.
There was definitely still a minority after 2022, pretty much the same group who has continued to complain this entire season. But the whispers were definitely creeping into some legitimately good posters about moving on by the January rut in 2023

.-.
Whether we or anyone likes it or not St. John's looks on point right now.
I think I’m in the minority in that I always root for in conference teams. Usually that doesn’t mean we have to face them in our bracket, though. Still, I’m hoping SJU beats the crap out of KU and potentially Duke. Always rooted for ‘Cuse, Pitt, Nova and the rest back in the heyday.

Keep in mind that no fans from that program are rooting for us. They hate us

I am not rooting against St. John's, but I know a lot here are.

Later Edit: I won't exactly be crestfallen if St. John's loses either. I am not sure UConn gets the fan support from the other Big East teams.

Kansas is starting to look disjointed again.
Self is pissed beacsue St. John’s is getting away with what they do in the Big East. Holding guys like crazy. Normally tournament refs should be calling that.

Yet lot's of similarities. Great athletes, defenders, play above the rim, change the game without scoring.

Poor shooters.
Ajax at least made fts lol. But AJax was more of a point forward. Excellent passer.

Mitchell is more of just an athlete

So many here put the anti jinx on St John's, saying their not a tournament team, they look like they can beat the Knicks right now.

I’m very confident they’d run Duke right now
They won’t get this whistle against Duke. Have you seen the foul discrepancy in their games? Sooner or later it may tighten in this game too.

I'm not rooting for or against St John's well am rooting for St John's here. I wanna see 2 BE teams in the sweet 16 and I wanna see Duke vs St John's.
