March madness round two Sunday

At this rate the entire sweet 16 will be big ten sec big 12

Trickle down effect of being at the top of the conference food chain and annexing teams from smaller conferences.

Iowa State does not look good without Jefferson. Man I hate Kentucky.
Same.

He's easily their best player - was never going to be a good thing. Makes the midwest bracket easy takings for Michigan. They're as good as a lock if there is no complete ISU. They would destroy the winner of Bama/TT and then winner of UK/UVa or Tenn. Midwest bracket becomes the Michigan Invitational.

Part of me excited to see a Michigan/AZ square down though.

ACC is down to 2 teams. Virginia could easily lose to Tennessee later.
Possibly. Though I can't see Odom losing to Barnes without some major anomaly. Barnes teams typically lose when they run into equally talented teams with better coaching. And Tennessee always seems to hit a wall offensively in the tournament.

Jasper Johnson is awful… BBN hates him. He came in the game, turned it over twice, took an idiotic 3, and 9-0 run. No idea how he was a top 20ish recruit.

He's a hot dog - had that vibe at OT Elite with Thomas. I thought Thomas might be too, as that the vibe that program gives off, but Thomas has tightened up his game at Arkansas.

Iowa State throttling Kentucky now. You hate to see it. I’ve taken so much joy going to Rupp Rafters this year. Aftermath of this season will be interesting either way.

Thomas is very, very good. I have no idea why his mock draft rankings are so low. But, whoa, Jasper Johnson is just not a winning player at all.

Kentucky commits their 20th turnover because a guy just lost the ball and threw it out of bounds

Mark Pope clapping and encouraging them on the sideline

Kentucky down 23

I’m sure Big Blue Nation will be very happy with him after this one

Kentucky has got to be one of the most undisciplined teams in college hoops....at any level.
20 turnovers. So far.

I've said it a hundred times but I have no idea how Kentucky spent $22 million on this roster. That's spending like a drunken sailor (as my father says).

Well you have to admit Pope's "come on let's go guys" clap ranks as one of the best.

...a drunken sailor in a Philippino noody bar.

It's the reason they want Pope outta there. Team shows not sense of discipline, Pope's roster strategy has been bad (they offered Solo, lol). He can't attract any HS recruits. He couldn't get JQ to play. It's been a hot mess.

Them falling apart here in the second half will have RR outraged.
