March madness round two Sunday

It's the reason they want Pope outta there. Team shows not sense of discipline, Pope's roster strategy has been bad (they offered Solo, lol). He can't attract any HS recruits. He couldn't get JQ to play. It's been a hot mess.

Them falling apart here in the second half will have RR outraged.
You of course always find a way to make a dig on a UConn player when it has nothing to do with the thread.

Kentucky Santa Clara was amazing. There’s been a bunch of fun games
There's been 4 or 5 good, interesting games out of like 40.

More 20+ point blowouts than down-to-the-wire ones.

Maybe I shouldn’t be poking fun based on what I’ll read on the yard tonight if we lose but I can’t help it

Potentially reality of both Kentucky and UNC having coaching openings and both jobs not being attractive gigs.

It’s still the round of 32. You’ll see some drama

Never forget that Kentucky nation thought they were gonna hire Hurley after ‘24 🤣🤣🤣

They both have a level of prestige that will attract their fair share of candidates. Will it be their desired candidates that apply for the job? That is the real question. North Carolina is a job I can see being attractive without near the level of toxicity of the Kentucky fan base.

UK wanting to fire Pope already is why nobody wants the job.

They would’ve ran 2022 Dan Hurley out of town after losing to NM St

To be fair, there were definitely some here who were wondering what the buy out was…
Ehh. The vast majority didn’t want Hurley fired. That was a small minority.

Everyone at Rupp Rafters wants him gone. They wanted him gone last year.

To me it’s similar to the Kentucky sitch two years ago. Matt Doherty was actually talking about it on the radio today. When he got fired, Roy Williams was out there waiting for UNC. Who’s out there now? UNC fans will think that Oats, Hurley, Golden, etc will be chomping for that opening. But not with today’s landscape. UNC is not what it was with NIL. The top top guys are in great situations. So UNC will likely have to go to a second tier guy.

Oh for sure. Some BBN wanted him fired after game two. BBN is nuts.

Hopkins has improved so much playing for Pitino. I couldn't stand him at PC or at the beginning of the season.

He’s become a knock down shooter the last 2 weeks

Your quip about Solo is unnecessary but unfortunately expected.

St. Johns has to figure out a way to keep Mitchell on Peterson through screens.

Can’t get myself to root for SJU even though we get some cash with each win. Concerned we’re going to lose transfers to Pitino given they’ve owned us the last 2 years

He has? His role is a lot different due to being on a much better team
