March madness round two Sunday

Hey has Todd Golden still figured out the secret to competing at the highest level, or is that out? Dan Hurley needs to listen up, or so I hear

Same.

He's easily their best player - was never going to be a good thing. Makes the midwest bracket easy takings for Michigan. They're as good as a lock if there is no complete ISU. They would destroy the winner of Bama/TT and then winner of UK/UVa or Tenn. Midwest bracket becomes the Michigan Invitational.

Part of me excited to see a Michigan/AZ square down though.
Alabama looked pretty good last night...

I think Michigan crushes them - they're just too big, and Bama likes to play fast and right into UM's hands. Bama has the off chance of making it a game by shooting +50% from 3. Florida beat them up, and UM is that much better.

Looks like Boogie is ready to be the next AJ Storr:

Golden must want to reinvest that large sum elsewhere as he'll be losing Haugh and maybe Condon.

Please nobody post they want him. Seems there's always a few people on here who say "want" for every high profile recruit.

I know the world has changed and lord knows we have our share of transfers, but the idea of a whole new team each year is just so unappealing.
Jimmy Jackson was complimenting Dusty May about how wisely Michigan spent their money and put together a roster of guys that were team oriented.

I know it's the reality, but I hate hearing it discussed, epecially during games.

UConn women up 65-12 over Cuse at the half. Never seen anything like this in the tournament men's or women's.

Just barely old enough to recall the first half of Michigan St (led by Magic) vs Penn in 79 final 4. 51-17.

I think I’m in the minority in that I always root for in conference teams. Usually that doesn’t mean we have to face them in our bracket, though. Still, I’m hoping SJU beats the crap out of KU and potentially Duke. Always rooted for ‘Cuse, Pitt, Nova and the rest back in the heyday.
Us too. It was tough until the late 80's when we started to win, but we rooted for all the Big East teams in the tournament in the 80's so our poor record could be rationalized,!

I think the Cuse coach does kinda have a point. The regional aspect of the tourney is great. But if you’re going to be seeded in such a way where you have to play UConn at Gampel every year is kinda lame. I think she said Cuse has played UConn 5 of the last 7 years at Gampel?

There are logistical things far beyond my pay grade, but home games in the NCAA tourney (men or women) is exceedingly lame.

I know… get better and beat them. But you know that’s much easier said than done in WBB.
