March madness round two Sunday

Wanted to officially wait till our game was over before laughing at Florida. How about that precious 1 seed didn't even get to the sweet 16 , you lost to a wrestling school lol.

Is this the year the b10 breaks the drought? 6 in the s16, chance for 5 in the e8.

I think Houston wins on Thurs though and Texas winning to open Thurs would be amazing. Hurley will have the boys ready on Fri. Alabama about as dangerous a 4 as a 1 can see in the s16.

Cheering for texas, slightly iowa, toss up, Houston, st Johns, slightly Alabama, UConn, Tennessee

Last night was by far the most entertaining night of the tournament so far.

I have a feeling next week will be lit!

Getting 25% of your entire conference into the Sweet 16 is very good. Outstanding. I honestly don't know what you're claiming victory about. Doing so with only 3 protected seeds is phenomenal.

By seed expectation, the SEC should have gone 12-10 for the entire tournament, but they're 12-6 with 4 teams alive. If they ALL lose next game, the conference will have hit par.

The fifth best conference of all time got some help on its seedings from the same efficiency ratings that got conference strength so wrong. Tennessee, Arkansas and Alabama were overseeded, making it possible for them to slip into the Sweet 16.

Big East not far behind, going 4-1 in the first weekend. 2 divided by 11 is 18% of the Big East.

Look at the ACC, 6 shots and only 1 left.

To be fair, there were definitely some here who were wondering what the buy out was…
and there you go. If Hurley didn't figure it out after the NM State loss, the Uconn fans would have wanted him out.

don't just rip other fanbases. Be very grateful he was able to turn it around.

Thanks dude.

RuffRuff appears to be the king at that this season.
And Stirtz went 0-9 from 3 in that one. Major egg laid by Florida. Chinyelu with a donut. Iowa was even with them in rebounding, which is generally their special sauce.

It's clear the SEC overachieving is hurting you bad inside. Hope you can recover.

I just like dunking on people who embrace stupidity rather than admit they were wrong. I could not have been more right on this issue, and a lot of you could not have been more wrong.

You're just hurting so bad. It has to suck to watch the SEC overachieve after you said they were so overrated. I do enjoy your excuse making though.

This is a painfully stupid gaslighting attempt. You aren't smart enough to play here. You should move on.

I have always been surprised teams don’t do this more.
DidntValvano do it in 83?

Isn’t tarris <60%? I’d be fouling him constantly down the stretch. Bonus: it puts the best rebounder far from the basket.

Hey has Todd Golden still figured out the secret to competing at the highest level, or is that out? Dan Hurley needs to listen up, or so I hear

Same.

He's easily their best player - was never going to be a good thing. Makes the midwest bracket easy takings for Michigan. They're as good as a lock if there is no complete ISU. They would destroy the winner of Bama/TT and then winner of UK/UVa or Tenn. Midwest bracket becomes the Michigan Invitational.

Part of me excited to see a Michigan/AZ square down though.
Alabama looked pretty good last night...

I think Michigan crushes them - they're just too big, and Bama likes to play fast and right into UM's hands. Bama has the off chance of making it a game by shooting +50% from 3. Florida beat them up, and UM is that much better.
