March madness round two Sunday

Extraordinary ending to the first half for St John’s. They let Kansas back in it by going on a cold spell but dominated the last few minutes

8 point lead at halftime. They have to be feeling good despite that hilarious Hopkins turnover at the end lol
 
Say all you want about beauty, Big East up 8 and closer to another $2m at the half.

St John’s has a way about their play that is tough to adjust to
 
Not sure if Kansas has the strategy nor mental toughness to win this. They really should be pounding the ball inside.
 
Someone should tell Kansas that this isn’t diving or gymnastics - degree of difficulty isn’t important.

There's bitterness because they have owned us 4 out of the 5 meetings and taken the BE regular season and tourney the last 2 years.

Everyone here would be rooting for St John's if they lost to us the last 2 years.

It's like people here act like St John's took their girl from them. It's like they try to come up with things to make themselves feel better saying St John's isn't a tournament when they clearly are.

Peterson isn't able to take over being guarded by Mitchell. He's a freshman and MItchell has NBA All-star athleticism.
 
I usually don’t root for KU and I want both teams to lose but I’ve grown to hate St John’s

They could win 2 or 3 more if they don't lose this one. $500k can certainly matter.
 
I am also a hater, I despise how St. John’s plays, it’s horrendous. I just want them to get out of the way.

But Kansas is somehow worse. Basically have to use Peterson as their only offense.

This is a stretch. Our coach’s salary is nearly 20x that. More importantly, wouldn’t you want the team that’s the worst matchup for us knocked out of our region?
