Hawaii all done,, long flight home, but what a great place to go home too

If anyone thought Middle Tennessee St. was going to beat Cuse today than they are clueless. These teams who play out of their minds on Day 1 rarely come back and play a good game on Day 2. Plus, they only had 2 days to play against the Cuse zone. We make fun of it all the time, but this is one of those times where it is a huge advantage. Those guys never saw that kind of zone in C-USA.

Gonzaga has almost a full week to prepare for the zone, and has the guys to dismantle it. And if the don't, Cuse gets to play Virginia who plays against it every year, or Iowa State, who is one of the best offensive teams in the country.

I give Cuse credit...they are in the Sweet 16. But they beat an overseeded 7, and a 15 to get there. They will have to earn it next weekend more than they did this weekend.

Well, Stephen Austin should have won that game today, so in that case, not so much out of our minds.
 
Strange final 45 seconds to UNI/Texas A&M game. Refs are swallowing their whistles on a lot of grabbing by A&M players.

This is the fishiest end of a game i have ever seen.
 
Not easy to blow an 12-pt lead in the last 45 seconds, but NIU just found a way. Incredible.
 
That was a weak foul call, apparently jumping into a guy equals a foul, nonetheless its UNI own doing here.
 
That should have been about 5 fouls by A&M on that trap on Washpun. And why didn't he just throw it down court? The clock would have expired.

How many passes were made directly under the basket in the last minute? What just happened?
 
While UNI choked that away, it doesn't excuse yet another late minute game changing BS call by the officials against the little guy. UNI went out of his way to avoid contact and they still called him for the and 1.
 
No one at any level breaks a trap the way UNI did in the last minute of that game. 4th grade Girls travel teams will spread out and avoid passing to stationary targets on the baseline.

If they are going to call that foul, they have to call all the clutching and grabbing by A&M in the last minute. Call all of it or none of it.
 
LOL at refs in the Wisky Xavier game. Announcers call it a slip. Replay conveniently didn't show the Xavier player kneeing the Wisky center and knocking him off his feet.

I mean, I just can't even imagine how the ref who was right there managed to miss that.
 
Come on UNI. Had so much more time to do something better than another heave.
 
Half court heave with 5 seconds left? Five??

This game is ridiculous.
 
Wow what a shot, I'm still mad at Wisconsin for losing to Duke in last years title game.
