I can’t because I’m in NY and we can’t bet on NY college team games, but I’m rooting for Georgetown anyway so I wouldn’t.
 
Sort of annoying that Dylan Darling turned out to be a serviceable player. He was their last add-on, and they would be up a creek completely if they rolled with a Jackson-Sanon-Sellers guard rotation.

The other thing about the SEC is they are really low on great centers, front courts. So a team like Florida can romp in the paint. If you look at top rebounders in the SEC, Florida has two guys in top 3, and then Haugh is 20th. A lot of the kids in the top 10 are guard/forwards.

Vandy - meh
Alabama - terrible rebounding team
Arkansas- perimeter oriented

Crazy that UF's frontcourt starters are all eligible to come back too - he can run these guys back for another year if he wanted to. I know Haugh is supposed to go first round, so he may go - but even if Golden can get the other two back and Fland, may be kicking off the year as preseason 1.

During the broadcast they mention St. John’s avg like 16 pt off turnovers and 13 second chance points.

I think the book is out on them take care of the ball so they don’t get easy points keep them off the offensive glass and they will struggle to score.

St John’s is once again struggling to make shots. In a tight one with Georgetown at MSG. Mulready has played really well and has made some tough shots

Also can't get an offensive rebound and giving up a ton of easy 3pt looks that StJ is missing.

Georgetowns complete inability to box out or rebound is annoying. They're giving up free points. 15 offensive rebounds given up - bad basketball.

watching Georgetown v St. john’s. Georgetown is the worst coached team I have seen in a while. Just one mental mistake and stupid play after another

Actually, we don’t. When you say you “honestly don’t care” you are saying you don’t find a fact determinative of a conclusion. Again, you are entitled to do that. But you are not challenging the fact — just saying you don’t view it as material.

It’s interesting that 9 of the Top 13 KenPom teams play with very deliberate tempo (AdjT) and rank in the bottom 1/3 of D1 for pace.

That is interesting. I have noticed having watched Duke of late, they have evolved into a very deliberate halfcourt team, taking advantage of their defense and Boozer. Would not have thought Houston would be that low - doesn't seem like it favors their roster TBH, as they have shooters/athletic bigs. They're close to dead last.

They had their chances despite the no calls. Cooley has zero control to stop their impatient stupidity.
 
I've watched most of the 2nd half of the Florida vs Mississippi State game. Just such a lack of defense, plus a lot of running and gunning from Mississippi State. I know UF is big but Mississippi State looks tiny.

I admittedly haven't watched a ton of the SEC this year, and I know each league tends to have its own style of play. For those that have watched at least a fair amount of SEC ball this season, is this lack of defensive intensity the norm? I know UF is good but with how little defense Mississippi State has played I'm not shocked UF scored 100 again. It is genuinely one of the worst defensive performances I've seen all year.

If this is the type of defense played night in and night out in the SEC, UF is not going to look this dominant in the NCAAT.

Yes, the SEC is low on defense and size (other than Florida). They have some of the most telltale high KPO, low KPD teams in Arkansas, Alabama, etc. Only 3 teams in the top 30 in KP. Part of me does think them leaving that conference could be a bit of a shock to them. The B12, for instance, has 6 team in KP top 20.

DP is a weird player. I really do wonder if he makes that Kansas team better. I don't touch that kid with the first pick given the options.
