Great. Maybe Tennessee should switch to the Big South, maybe they can finish higher than 7th in their conference.100 points.
Do conference tournaments in the weaker conferences actually bring in net revenue?Because conference tournaments are only in existence to make additional revenue, there's no guarantee that the winner will be one of the better teams. So, they could limit the conference tournament to the top 8 teams and do away with the 1 and 2 game byes that a lot of conferences have. Then hopefully only the top teams automatically qualify. However, teams that didn't qualify for the conference tournament can still make the Big Dance as at-large teams, which is every team's goal.

I can't believe what I just sawWho would have ever thought that the UVA women would advance, but the UVA men would lose in the first round

I was at work and I thought while glancing at the TV that a Notre Dame player was being helped off the court. I couldn't watch because I was busy. Who was it? Any word?

You and I both know how they feel because we had our teams as 2 seeds lose to 15's.
As part of that fan base, I agree...devastating. Or maybe that’s to mild a description.I like UVA.... and their coach.... I hated seeing that.... devastating for that program and fanbase

Do conference tournaments in the weaker conferences actually bring in net revenue?

Saturday morning. Watching the ESPN (SportsCenter, College GameDay) shows. One would not know there is a women's ncaa basketball tournament going on. Only seeing reports on the men's ncaa basketball tournament. And, then they do a segment on NBA results. Sigh. DAMN
Westbeld. Latest update:

It’s tournament time. Teams are playing out of their minds. And parity is creeping up on the game. Two questions: How does S Car beat a 15 seed by a mere 11?
How does ND allow a 16 seed to score 81?
I have no idea but am guessing that the reason for them is the revenue that they are hoping for. Otherwise why have them because the tournament makes the regular season worthless unless the no. 1 seed is the tournament winner.Do conference tournaments in the weaker conferences actually bring in net revenue?
I’m a night owl, so it doesn’t bother me, but people who bring kids to the games are unhappy. I don’t understand why the west coast games aren’t the late (in the east) games.ESPN is crazy.... I just saw the start time for Sundays games. South Carolina vs UVA @ 9pm ..... what kinda sense does that crap make
