I realize Diaco wants time on the clock in case there is a bad snap, but 16 seconds is too much time. Now you have to kickoff if you make it.

I agree. I think 11 seconds is enough.

A bad snap and you want to go to just go to OT. It is a scramble play at that point.

Sure, maybe you leave 6 or 7 seconds instead of 3. But 16? That's a panic move by the coach. The players were poised in the last minute, The coach, not so much.

The odds of a player having that awareness are so slim. At that point it is a scramble play. You just plan to go to OT if you dont get the kick.

If you are kicking from 37 you can forget kicking after a bad snap. It's 55 if you are lucky.
