Sure, maybe you leave 6 or 7 seconds instead of 3. But 16? That's a panic move by the coach. The players were poised in the last minute, The coach, not so much.

The odds of a player having that awareness are so slim. At that point it is a scramble play. You just plan to go to OT if you dont get the kick.
