Interesting stat.

Griffey's only looked like that because of injuries (a valid concern).

That dude is nuts. It seems him and Boras were so hellbent on beating Stanton’s total deal that they are stuck explaining why he wanted a 13 year deal.

He claimed to be upset by hearing he wanted to go to New York. Yeah buddy you said that.

He is clearly mad at Washington for not wanting him. They offered him a better contract than he got from Phili. He passed on it and went to FA.

These teams are so flush with cash it can be easily overcome but this guy is a complete nightmare to have around.

Harper doesn't even know which city he is playing for. He massively underperformed at his press conference. His eyebrows look as cocky as Roman emperors. Before the press conference. Definitely doesn't seem to be happy in Philly. Hope the Angels fix their unis to look better and keep Trout.

Kraft sexually underperforming as owner of the Pats is quite embarrassing, too. Pro sports has become a total mess of egos.

I beleive in the numbers for sure but there are guys you just want no part of.

It has a chance to be a home run for the Phillies because the AAV isn’t that bad - but it’s way riskier to me than Machado especially if the NL gets the Dan Hurley.

I was just riffing off our previous exchange ITT, where I was talking about how mental makeup, club house culture, and some of that other intangible stuff is important, and you made fun of me for it.
