They can't get either if they are on the most common type of Visa. The Rev Share is even more clear than NIL. I think you'll see them applying for different visas than other students.
Distinction without a difference for me. I know it's 2 different things but either way they're getting money for playing basketball at UConn so I was just using it interchangeably
Which visas can you take money and which can’t you? One of my son’s best friends from college is from China. I'm assuming he was here on a student visa but I don't know for sure. He worked during a couple of the summers here and got paid.

I don't think so. Everyone knows his tenure at Connecticut. The fact that he's leaving with class and with the support of Hurley speaks volumes for him.
He knows that even if he does everything right there's a strong likelyhood that (because it's BC) he'll still fail.

I don't think he's gifting them, but if there is something not working at Uconn and they are likely to leave anyway, can be steered or freed to walk with Luke. I believe Murray said as much during his presser - that he's talking to a couple players, pretty openly.
I’m starting get some feedback from my BC family members that they are less enthusiastic than we are about Luke’s hiring. They are still pissed about Skinner and the lack of control of his team and some questionable characters he recruited.

Luke will take nobody with him that Hurley wants to keep. There may be some marginal players who won't get much PT at UConn next year, looking for opportunity at BC, but they won't be significant losses to UConn.

Looks like he makes about 675k after getting a raise last year at Bama. Sounds like he is the de facto GM for Oates.
We tried to make him a GM I think given his past and that bit us. I think now it's a better opportunity. I have always wondered why Hurley keeps his coaching staff so small. It some ways it makes sense because he has more control and it is hard to argue the results, but you look at some benches and teams will have like 8 coaches before players.

Since Murphy was Dan's associate head coach at URI, why didn't he follow him to UConn? I read that Preston was at Creighton in 2016 after leaving URI in 2014 but just wondering. Why did he leave URI?
They have a problem with Al Skinner?? He was about 100 games over .500 there and went to the dance 7 times in 13 years. Comparing that to the last 15 years of 150 games under and ZERO NCAA tournaments. Al should have statue outside of Conte.
