Many of these suggestions are way too small time.

We are replacing arguably the best assistant coach in the country.

That is the bar we should shoot for with the replacement. Otherwise we get appreciably worse as a program.

Luke will be tough to replace based on his areas of responsibility/talent. Was X and O guy for our offense-Coached the Bigs-Well connected and extremely productive recruiter-Hurley whisperer. Some combination of those talents for the next coach would be awesome. Hard to find in one person.

No we don't. Hurley said we don't need a good recruiter and just need an analytics guy. Tom Moore handles the scouting and NIL stuff and Hurley closes the deal.

Really curious who we land. Don't know much about Murphy, but I believe he's been charged with scouting other teams and game planning at Alabama.
