While all of us Husky fans wring our hands over last night's VICTORY, lots of ranked teams seem to be fighting threw the "February doldrums."

SC struggling with unranked MO
USF goes down to unranked Temple at home
Unranked Wake takes down NCSt
Unranked MSU takes down Mich
Unranked Marquette beats DePaul

We UConn fans sure do have it pretty bad....

I was going to put a post out there called "Upset Sunday", but you pretty much beat me to it!

Wake has a terrible record (14-12) but took out #15 NC State
Unranked 20-7 Marquette took out #17 Depaul
18-9 Michigan State took out #20 Michigan
21-5 Temple took out #22 USF

13-13 Arkansas (2-11 in their league) leads Tenn 23-22 at halftime
18-8 LSU in a dogfight with 13-13 Georgia in OT
The other "worst" team in the SEC - Vandy (2-11 in conf) is pummeling 16-10 Ole Miss by 16 at half time.

Good stuff. Every other team goes through these spells, even those without injuries to key players and no depth. We Husky fans have gotten terribly spoiled

Today's women basketball, every team has some good players, and very team also has a bad game day. If those two met together it is a upset game.

Both of DePaul's conference losses have been to Marquette.

Both of Creighton's conference losses have been to DePaul. So it looks like DePaul and Creighton
will be co-champs.

Co-PAC12 leader ORSt (13-2 conf.) is in a dogfight at Utah (4-11 conf.).

Great game by Mizzou to spring the upset. It feels like no one besides UCONN, Miss State and Maryland wants a 1 seed - they are my top 3 seeds at the moment.

LSU lost to Georgia, who also played SC fairly close twice and gave MSU all they could handle in Starkville.

Another game in this theme: Indiana, who had finally worked their way into the projected tournament field, dropped a clunker at Nebraska today.

These upsets of the ranked teams, just go to prove how hard it is to win 101 games in a row. Always being on top of your game, never allowing a let down or succumbing to your opponent out hustling you. Last night we didn't play our A game, in fact I would suggest we didn't even play our B game, but we found a way to win. These loses just make this streak even more amazing. GO UCONN

Quickly went from a 2 point lead to a 15 point lead in the 4th quarter. OSU wins ugly fairly often, rarely blow teams out.

ND down 43-35 end of first half at the Carrier Dome. Syracuse is so athletic.
MSU down by 2 at the half at Texas A&M

Miz upset SC 62 - 60

Saw Mizzou play earlier this season and thought they were a scrappy and dangerous bunch.

For SC, Coates disappears again and Davis shot poorly. Poor guard play by SC still.

Not really suprised by this one.

A&M playing Miss State even at the half. 30-30

Davis not only shot poorly, she made bad shot decisions. Gray held up her end on 5 for 13 shooting and a few free throws. Yes, Coates was a no show with 2 points, 3 off 3 def rebounds.

I actually am surprised by this score. SC looked really tough in Gampel, and had either of their primary guards, Gray & Davis, been able to get hot from outside, that game would have gone down to the wire. Surprises me to see them under-achieve in a conference match. No disrespect to Mizzou, Sophie Cunningham is a real competitor.

Am I the only one who doesn't get the Victoria Vivians hype? She's primarily a shooter who shoots 38%. Having another awful game today. People complained about the officiating in South Carolina but had she done anything MSS would've won the game anyway.

I agree. After watching VV's terrible performance vs SC, the word that came to my mind was "overrated."

Vivians came back and went 6-11 in the second half and finished with 25 points. Also went 10-11 from the line. Clearly A&M was playing her very physical, and she came through when it counted.
