ugh how has that mojo been working out the last few years? Maybe we should try a sonnet.

I was already thinking that. Either a Sestina or a Bref Double.

But thats probably ambitious.

Considering this is the boneyard it seems that maybe a Limerick should be the next choice.

A heads up, and an invitation.

For those of you who haven't yet offered a Game Day Haiku, the 3-line Japanese poetry form requires a

First line with 5 "X"
Where "X" equals syllables
Then 7, then 5

"Houston? We have a problem" would make a nifty middle line. You can play with the punctuation to match your emotions. And remember, it's all for the mojo.

time for some new goals
singles section saves season
for jmick and stain

LOLZ Two A+ posts in a row! That Maddox kid picture thread had tears streaming down my face the first time I read it. Has to be like 15 years now.

and then to follow with this ! :

There once was a hoop team from Storrs
Their season was no longer about scores
But on this St. Valentine's night, with the light just right
@JMick and @Stainmaster became each other's whores

If we somehow manage a miracle Thursday this needs to be the new yard masthead.

there once was a kid from manfield
on limited driveways he would not yield
then he found a new friend at the xl bar
who begged to paint lightning bolts on his car

Prediction: we score over 50 and lose by less than 20. 68-55 sounds about right. That's without Gilbert.

These huskies don't give up. Home fans will be making noise and we might even make some shots on our home rims.

Uh..Houston is the 9th ranked team in the country. They will beat us by whatever they want, we straight up do not have the talent for them.

I can't tell if I do or don't want that to happen.

We all have to take one for the team sometimes brah.

How quickly you forget that I had to choke down turkey and ketchup for this team. Certainly being part of BY lore for and overly undermanned win against a 1 loss team is worth whatever conflict you have in your mind.

If it was Gampel, Id be with you.

Hartford doesnt seem like a Home game for this team (or the last few) Its a road game with a ton of UConn fans. We just dont play the same in hartford as Gampel. Or so it seems.

Set your expectations much lower. We're more like Kevin from The Office.
