We'll see, give it a year or two. One game so far. He played a few good games for us too. He'll probably do better with Liverpool's more direct/counter approach. His dribble/drive as MF would never really work in Arsenal's pass/pass/pass set up. We didn't/don't have the defensive cover for it.

But I kind of liked him as a WB. He didn't want to play there though.

In Mainz he was a really pretty good; but he would make some dumb passes or come out a bit much for my taste. I would say his concept of risk/reward is a bit aggressive but I guess it makes it fun!

I thought every single player was a 10/10, first time I can recall that. Nobody put a foot wrong all night, save for the uncalled handball/penalty, but its Man City and stuff will happen

He isn't a technical genius. He is a master motivator who utilizes a system that puts pressure on the opponent - whether it is gegenpressing or attacking football. His style disrupts teams that attack like Pep Guardiola's squads or teams that have inferior technical players. Where Jurgen gets in trouble, to quote Carlos Carvalhal, the Swansea City manager - "If you put a Formula 1 car in London in traffic, the Formula 1 car will not run very fast." Long balls, sitting deep with 6 in the backline causes Liverpool to struggle.

That said, he is a great manager and if I were a player, I would love to play for him.

The one that Sane pulled wide on the break was truly horrendous.

Liverpool just have to get 1 on Tuesday. That's my mentality. Get one and they need five. If you don't advance out of that, its on you.
